My writing is slowly going downhill, so is my motivation and mental health 🤪 please be patient with me <3

A green light illuminated the area surrounding the two teens. A small black kwami flew up and landed in the palm of a blonde haired boy.

"Chaton...?" Marinette questioned, her eyes filling with hot tears, threatening to spill out. It can't be true. No, there was no way. It's impossible.

Chat raised his head to show his face, his true identity. "I told you Princess....I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I really am. I just- there was never a good time and-"

"No. No no no. No. This is, this isn't right. This has to be some sort of prank. Alya?! Nino?! Chloe?! Lila?! If any of you are behind this I swear to fucking god-"

Adrien took Marinette's face into his hands, letting his gaze land on hers. "Mari- mari. Please listen. It's not a joke. It's not a Prank. It's not a dream."

"No....but- Adrien.....why...."

"I'm sorry."

She looked into her Chaton's eyes. Her tears spilled
Onto her cheeks, a lump in her throat formed and her hands began to shake. "No." She whispered, opening her trap door and climbing in, closing it and locking it behind her.

"Marinette? Mari! Princess please, please can we talk about this? Please?"

The teen burried her face into her pillows and softly sobbed, hoping it was all a dream and she'd soon wake up from this never ending nightmare.

"Mari please...." Adrien soon realized all the begging and pleads in the world wouldn't work. She wasn't going to speak to him. A lump formed in his throat and he felt like he was just punched in the gut. "I'll see you tomorrow then, okay princess? We'll talk them."

"No! Stay away from me. Don't ever speak to me again. I cant even look at you Chaton." Marinette exclaimed, she threw a pillow at the door before nuzzling herself back into the cushions.

Adrien stepped back, a tear steamed down his cheek. What had he done......

"Claws out." He commanded, transforming back into his alter ego. He leapt from his love's balcony and to his own shelter, silently cursing himself the whole time, wishing he could go back in time.

Tiki sat next to her holder, empathy in her eyes. "I'm so sorry Marinette." She apologized, wishing she could do something.

"Why him? Of all people in Paris? Why the one I'm in love with? This makes everything so much more complicated." She cried.

The life of Marinette dupain-cheng was not an easy one. And unfortunately for her, and her readers, it continues to get harder and worse. God really decided to screw her over in this life. And there was no fixing it.

Short, simple, and angst filled. Hope it was okay ;)
