Chapter 3
Maxie got back in the car with John and they began to drive. As they drove Maxie started to wonder if she was doing the right thing. She thought it was crazy driving with her best friend to God knows were and kill the guy that meant so much to her. She looked at John as they drove down the high way. She looked at the clock it was 12:45pm and it had been four hours sense they had left Maxie’s house to look for Luke. As the hours ticked by Maxie could tell that John was getting tired it was now 9:55pm and John needed his sleep. You should let me drive for a little bit said Maxie. No said John you don’t even know where we are going. Yes I do said Maxie you’re driving to Luke’s house. Ok so you do said John ok then said John as he pulled the car over to let Maxie drive. As she got into the driver’s seat she started to think.
John she said. Yes Maxie. Do you think we are doing the right thing? John sat up Maxie I’m going to tell you some of what Luke told me but I’m going to wait until I am driving, I promise tomorrow I will tell you what he said. As John feel asleep in the passenger’s seat all Maxie could do was think of is what Luke had said to John about her. As John slept in the passenger’s seat he began to talk about her. He began telling her how beautiful she was and how she out shines all the other girls.
