Chapter 5
John looked at Maxie well if he comes back please tell him to call Maxie said John. I will said Mrs. Niagara. The doors slowly shut in front of them. John turned to Maxie do you feel like driving across the country with me? Maxie looked into John’s deep green eyes. Yes John lets go said Maxie. Maxie and John got into John’s car and drove off looking forward to going on the trip of a life time.
As Maxie sit in the car with John she started to get a feeling that John was up to something. Luke was his best friend before he moved to Delaware in the 6th grade. Luke came after following John wherever he went. When Luke told John that he liked Maxie John protested that he couldn’t like Maxie because he was in love with her. John told Luke that if he asked Maxie to be his girlfriend he would stop being friends with him.
