Chapter 4

Kite and (Y/N) were allowed to move out since Gon, Killua, and the others knew that they were safe and sound.

However, they needed to be extra careful because from rumours that they have heard of, the Chimera Ant Queen given birth to her King, and passed away from the early birth. It caused her organs to be crushed and she soon passed away. The King was known to be incredibly strong, so Kite and (Y/N) needed to keep their distance.

Kite promised himself that he would protect (Y/N). No matter what.

"Why are you making us stay away from the Chimera Ants?" (Y/N) asked, stopping in one their track. "Tell me, Kite. Why are you pushing me away from the action?" He looked down at the ground.

"I don't want to admit this, but... they could kill us real easily. One of their elite Chimera Ants almost killed us both, but spared us both somehow. I am never taking that chance again, and they are only getting stronger from here." Kite explained walking forward again.

"Huh?" She looked back to see Neferpitou, or Pitou for short. She aimed at Kite, but (Y/N) jumped and pushed him to the ground, taking the hit for him. "Ugh..." She passed out by the tree she was kicked into.

"(Y/N)!" Kite yelled and looked at Pitou angrilly. "Why have you come here!?"

"Hmm? Why have I come? I need strong humans, and (Y/N) will be perfect." She smirked as she charged at Kite before he could use his nen. "Stay down if you know what's good for you!"

"N-No! Don't take her!" She picked up (Y/N) and jumped away.

"Aah!" Kite woke up in the dark, panting heavily. "(Y/N)... I will find you." He sighed and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"I'm right here, Kite. You just had a bad dream." (Y/N) hugged him as he was in pure relief.

"It felt too real to be fake..."

"What was?"

"You were kidnapped by a Chimera Ant named Pitou. The one who had some cat features."

"That will never happen." She hugged him gently as Gon walked into the room with two plates of food.

"Hey guys, I brought you both some food." (Y/N) grabbed both plates and gave one to him.

"Thank you, Gon." She smiled as he nodded and left.

"What happened to my arm?" Kite asked, looking at a bandage that covered his wrist and lower arm.

"You cut it badly last night. We don't know how, but you were in a lot of pain, so we had to knock you out to treat it."

"Really?" Kite mummbled. "I'm not normally a coward."

"Your not a coward, Kite. It's okay." She smiled and began to eat her food.

"(Y/N)? When will we be leaving here?"

"We aren't." (Y/N) swallowed her food and looked at him. "Being in the outside nature is far too dangerous now, so we remain in this city, and indoors as much as possible." Kite didn't like this. He loved being outside in the forest, lake, and to see the amazing wildlife. "Kite? Your not happy about this, are you?"

"Not really, but if it is to us alive, then I guess I'll stay."

Gon and Killua were talking to Biscuit about if their power would be enough to defeat a Chimera Ant. It would be a very little chance, so their training began again from step 1.

They wanted to protect the world and humans from being eaten by these horrible monsters. They have nearly Kite already, and it was when the Queen was still alive.

In the early afternoon, Kite and (Y/N) were watching some TV. They didn't want to leave because they were enjoying their time together.

"(Y/N)?" Kite looked at her, breaking the silence.

"Hmm?"

"I wanted to tell you something important."

"What is it, Kite?"

"I do like you."

"I like you to, Kite." She leaned against him as he wrapped his arm around her waist. All of the time they had spent together, they have felt closer than ever before.

"Pitou? What are you doing?" Shaiapouf whispered yelled to the cat woman Chimera Ant as they hidden in an alley way. "We shouldn't be hidden like this."

"I know that, but we need to capture stronger humans without causing havoc." Pitou looked around and saw some very strong humans through a window in the distance. "There are at least four very strong humans that will satisfy our King."

"Wasn't his orders to bring one here to teach him emotions and other stuff he talks about?"

"Yes, but..." Pitou then gasped. "I know them four." Pouf was confused. "The other month when I ripped off the white-haired man, the two small boys ran off and the girl fought me with her skills."

"Then the girl will be our objective."

"Do you sense something, Gon?" Killua asked his best friend as Gon nodded and looked around. "I will gather every pro hunter in this building." Killua then ran to Kite's and (Y/N)'s room and alerted them before getting the others as fast as possible.

"I can sense them to. What shall we do?" (Y/N) asked, looking out of the wimdow. "We need to leave this building at once. We are being watched."

"Let's go to the park! It's just around the corner!" Gon mentioned as everyone nodded and made their way to the park without being attacked. They were on a wide open field and Kite sensed Pitou.

"Not her..." He sweated and she charged at them all. However, (Y/N) used her nen and managed to jump Pitou even with her excellent speed. She was pinned to the floor and Pouf flew towards her, but Killua and Gon distracted him.

"Get off!" Pitou yelled and attacked (Y/N), and kicked her off. (Y/N) used my aura to turn it into water and splashed it at Pitou who dodged and used her claws to cut her face in another swift movement.

Biscuit helped and fought with Pitou as well.

"Kite!" Gon yelled at Kite looked at them and his Crazy Slots ability gave him the Scythe. He used it against Shaiapouf and caused his wing to be badly cut, so he couldn't fly properly. "Killua! Now!" Killua used his God Speed and knocked Pouf away easily, the ant now being covered in blue lightning sparks.

Pitou defeated Biscuit and (Y/N) as Kite then went at her.

"We're not here for you males. I am here for one female." Pitou walked over to (Y/N) and went to pick her up, but she moved away. "Fighting back is not a good idea."

She stood up and spat the blood away and used fire instead of water now and managed to catch Pitou on her tail. She yelled and stood patted the fire out.

Kite used this moment to use his Scythe to hit her which cut her badly. Blue blood poured out of the elite guards as they retreated.

Gon and Killua ran to Biscuit as Kite helped (Y/N).

"You were very brave out there, (Y/N). Definately stronger as well." He used his sleeve to wipe the blood off her face.

"You were to, Kite." She panted and hugged him. He willingly hugged back.
