Chapter 2

"Ugh... W-What a bastard." I mummbled out as I noticed my nen has calmed down and my claws were now finger nails again. The blood had dried up. How long was I out for? I looked over to see the same man in the same position. "Oh no..." I crawled over to him, realising my arm was broken. "Hey... Mister. Can you hear me?" His eyes opened very slightly and looked up at me before closing again. I have to heal him and fast. Luckily, I learned to be an Enchancer too, so I have the ability to heal ripped off limbs like this. I reached out and grabbed the arm before lining it up with his shoulder and worked my nen into the repair. It was hurting me badly from my weakened condition, but if nothinf was done, this man will perish. Once his arm was back together, vains connected and blood streams, I lifted it up to see his body moving with it. "G-Good." I passed out next to him.

Kite's POV...

I woke up early the next morning. I don't remember what happened, only fighting that girl Chimera Ant and someone helped me. I looked at my arm that was meant to the completely off my body, but it was fine? I saw the girl that helped me. She looked very tired. D-Did she heal me?

I tried to stand up, but my other wounds were very deep.

"Don't worry, lady. I'll get you out of here." I stood up, and limped weakly to the closest river to make a small campsite. There was plenty of water, wood, and trees for shelter. "This'll do." I limped back and dragged her by the leg and layed her under the tree, next to a bush to keep her warm.

"Hmm?" I must've passed out again. This time it was for another day and I was soo dehydrated. Luckily, this water is perfectly clean to drink. Wounds make you more thristy. I looked over at the girl and smiled calmly.

(Y/N)'s POV...

I then start to wake up slowly. The surroundings were different. I saw the man, sitting by a camp fire. The area was beautiful.

"Ahh, your awake. Can you move?" He asked instantly as I limped over to the fire and sat next to him. "Why did you help me?"

"Huh?" I yawned and stretched. "I helped you because your friends with Gon and Killua. I had to save you."

"Well... Thanks." He blushed and looked away.

I began to look through my back pack and take out some crackers. I opened the pack and began to eat. I hummed and looked at him.

"Want some?" I asked as he tilted his head to the side. I grabbed his hand and put three crackers there. "Eat up." I smiled as he began to eat them.

"They are pretty good."

"Glad you like them."

The fire went out as I curled up under the tree, next to the bush and shivered from the cold. The man which I still didn't know the name of was sleeping like a baby. How can he sleep in such weather. Damn, I wish I didn't lose my sleeping blanket. I shivered more and more until it eventually woke him up.

"What's wrong?"

"C-Cold." I shivered as he stood up and limped away slowly."W-Where you going?" He didn't answer me and just walked off somewhere. "I must've made him mad." I curled up until I felt something soft over me. It was an old blanket that the long-haired man found.

"That should keep you warm. Goodnight." He layed back down and went to sleep.

"G-Goodnight."

(Y/N) woke up the next day to see that she was by herself. The man must've moved on already, despite being injured and unable to walk properly. She sat up and looked at her waist to see that her wound was slowly starting to heal. The bush started to rustle and came out a bunny.

"Aww. Hello, little fella." She picked it up and held it on her lap. "Where is your family?" The bunny's ears twitched as it fell asleep on her lap, knowing that it could trust her already. "I'll try and find you some food. Rabbits like seeds, grasses, fruits and veggies. Let's see." (Y/N) placed the rabbit next to the bush and looked through her backpack to see that she has a fresh lettuce in there. "Bingo!" She opened it and placed it next to the rabbit before limping to the stream to drink some cold water. It tasted amazing.

Kite came back, holding some raw fish on sticks. He saw a rabbit eating lettuce and some deer eating grass, not far from their small camp site. He was impressed with this girl's efforts and doings. He is also friendly and helpful towards animals, depending on what they do. For example, if an animal threatens to kill a human then he'll strike and kill them for the human's safety. He sat down and put the stick in holes and used some spare fire wood to place for the new fire.

"Excuse me, sir?" The female voice  spoke as he looked at her. "What's your name?"

"My name is Kite. What's yours?"

"My name is (Y/N) (L/N)." He limped over to her and punched her across the face. "Hey! What the hell was that for!?"

"I didn't need your help! You could've gotten yourself killed!" She looked at him in shock. Didn't he know that she saved his life?

"I saved your life! You think punching me is going to reverse this!? No! It's not! If it weren't for me! You would've died!" (Y/N) stood up as her aura begin to show all over her body. He gasped and took a step back. He was in no condition to fight her, and she is too weak to fight as well. She calmed down and fell forward onto her belly.

"(Y/N)..." He limped and checked her pulse. "Thank goodness." He sighed and dragged her towards the fire. "I am thankful. I would've died there without your help. I'm sorry for punching you." He began to light up the fire for their breakfast to cook.
