[HxH] Kite X Reader - Hunting Master!

Chapter 6

Kite and (Y/N) were on the field that was around the corner from the building they were staying at for a while.

"Since this was your idea, Kite, I will display the rules for this fight between us." (Y/N) crossed her arms and began to speak. "Rule one; that whoever passes out first, loses. Rule two; that we will not leave the field no matter what. Rule three; We must not hold back. Any objections to those conditions?" Kite shook his head a no. He desperately did not want to hurt her, and she desperately did not want to hurt him.

The battle has now begun, and Kite made the first move by using his incredible speed to circle around (Y/N) and go for a hard punch. It made contact, but not in the spot he wanted. She blocked it with her arms, with the help of her aura to defend off his punches. His punches became faster, so defending is harder, he hit her in the stomach, sending her flying further away on the field.

He watched her get up slowly and ran over to her and kicked her further away again. She coughed up a bit of blood and looked at him, his eyes were full of regret and guilt. He really wanted (Y/N) to lose this fight.

"Y-You can knock me down all you like, Kite..." She breathed and coughed up a bit more blood, but stood up soon after. "I will not back down that easily. Your not the only Hunter here."

"Show me what your made of!" Kite yelled and they went at each other again, only for Kite to move behind her and pin her to the floor with his hands and foot. "Stay down!" She then chuckled and used her water to splash water into his chest. He got off her and placed a hand on his chest from the amount of pressure.

(Y/N) watched Kite take out his Crazy Slot ability and it spoke some garbage for spinning randomly and got the Carbine. She gasped and he aimed the gun at her. What a horrible spin.

(Y/N)'s hands were now ready for as soon as the carbine is fired. When he fired the weapon, lava squirted out of her hands and blocked the bullet, but a small piece of lava sprayed onto her shoulder.

"It burns!" She stopped and noticed her clothing caught fire. After a lot of water onto her shoulder she panted and fell onto her knees. He walked up to her and aimed the carbine to her right leg.

"Give up!" Kite yelled. "You can't defeat me!"

"That's what you think." She jumped at him and head-butted him, catching him off guard, possibly breaking his nose. "See. I'm not... done yet." Her Nen was fading and she couldn't hold her power for much longer. Kite growled and punched her to the ground, but she grabbed his leg, both of them being brought on the grass, her ontop of him.

Their blushes were obviously shown.

"I give up." She mummbled and passed out on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her and carried her back to their temporary safe home.

Gon and Killua saw Kite walking in while holding (Y/N) and ran towards him urgently.

"What happened to her!?"

"Yeah. It looks like you both just faced something that was a little too much."

"Calm down. Me and her were training and I won." Kite shrugged and walked to the bedroom he and her slept in. "Guess I won the deal, (Y/N). I will protect with my life."

Gon and Killua were eating aome snacks and looked out of the window.

"Do you actually think they were 'training'?" Killua asked Gon as he looked at his best friend, mouth covered in chocolate.

"I think they made a deal." Gon answered and took another big bite of the chocolate bar. "And... Kite won, but not by much."

"(Y/N) and Kite can probably defeat us in combat too, but that is why we have to train. To get stronger." Killua smirked with pride and the green-haired boy agreed.
