"Explain everything that happened. Do not leave out any details. You have five minutes" the man said shinning a light onto my face.

I snorted, "You want me to explain my life's passion in five minutes? What are you out of your mind? This discovery I made is worth at least an hour".

"Professor please, we're just trying to understand what happened. And we have reason to believe you're the root cause of it"

"Ok ok, here goes nothing" I muttered.

"Well, I think it's important you know my fascination with aliens. I've read every book, watched every video, and investigated all there is to know about them. And finally out of all sixty-five years of life, I had finally found something worthwhile. I noticed something similar about all the alien air crafts. Something we have on earth that I could use. And that's when it hit me" I said.

"What? " the man said glaring at me.

"An idea. I could create a device to communicate with the creatures from above using the same technology as them. Some of it is more high tech, but that couldn't stop me from trying"

"Hold on a second. You realize you can't speak their languages correct? I mean they would have no idea what you mean"

"I know, that was the problem. But I hypothesized that they would understand if I sent out an SOS or a call for help. So I created the machine and sent out the message. To the world's and I surprise they responded with an attack."

"You do realize this experiment of yours cause thousands to die? The SOS message wasn't the smartest play"

"Yeah, but now we have footage of aliens and evidence to prove they're in fact there. I've proven myself, I can finally sleep at night knowing the world will remember me " I said.

The man slammed his hand on the table.

"For what, helping destroy the planet? How could you be so self-centered? The aliens think one of their kind is here trying to send them a message. They're mad, really really mad. We could all die because of this! If climate change doesn't kill us first, they will"

"I didn't know they would come angry! I was just trying to see what would happen. The SOS message was just a test"

"Yeah, a test that left Earth in chaos. Professor, do you still have the machine?" the man said sighing.

"Yes," I mumbled.

"Could you send another message to calm them down?" he asked.

"I don't speak their language, I was surprised they understood SOS," I said shifting in my seat.

"Make something up for goodness sake. They must understand at least basic English. We need to send something, anything. Just to make them go away"

I bit my lip making some quick calculations.

"I might have an idea, one that won't land us in hot water"

"I hope not," he said unhooking my handcuffs.

"To the lab" I called before racing out the room.

I held in my laugh smiling. Humans are so stupid. If a alien received  a signal they would go to the place where it was sent first, my lab. Unless of course it was all part of our plan in the first place.

I already know what they'll say once they find out about our alliance.  The aliens corrupted you. This isn't you Professor. They messed with your brain.  What do they know? All they did is push me around and tell me I'm a nutcase. Unlike humans, aliens understand me. They know how it is to be mistreated.  That's why I trust them more than any other human on this planet. Heh, I calculated everything  and the data clearly tells me to give up on humans.  If anything the human race is a corruption. Everyone on this planet is forced to dress alike, act similar, and cast down anyone that doesn't follow this system. It lasted for a while,  but finally this earthlings are being put in their place.
