*SWISHH....* Nicky Chanel makes the shot getting the winning point they needed to win it all. Nicky's teammates all run over to her and start chanting and jumping around her.
"NICKY! NICKY! NICKY! NICKY! WOOO HOOOO! Great shot Nick! We won!" exclaim a few of her teammates. Nicky's Best Friend comes over to her congratulating her on her winning shot, and giving her a big hug.
Nicky Chanel and Katie Baxter have been best friends since they met in pre-school. They are now in Tenth Grade together, still best friends forever. Katie has made it to every one of her basketball games since day one of Nicky's basketball games.
Except for a few of her games... 3 months ago, Katie was diagnosed with Leukemia Cancer. She was in the hospital for about ten days, so she missed like two of Nicky's games. But she made it up right after she got out of the hospital.
"How about we go out for some dinner. How's that sound ladies?" Coach Mary asks.
"oooh, okay. Yeah of course. Where we thinkin?" one girl said.
"how about that diner a few blocks away? i think its called... Nina's Diner?" Coach says.
We all left and went to Nina's Diner, I brought Katie with me. I mean she IS my best friends, why not!?
We all had a fun time, we laughed and told funny stories. I had a Bacon and Cheddar Cheeseburger. Katie got the same thing. :) The burgers were REALLY good, we even got fries with it, and me and Katie got Strawberry milkshakes. That place was really good, I'll prolly go there more often. :)
After leaving the Diner, Katie came over to my house for awhile. We had a lot of fun, played on my PS5, games like this new one called Abandoned, other games like Sackboy, and some Oculus VR games. Played truth or dare. (it was really funny, and kinda deep too...) We also went a little online shopping at Forever21, It's All Leggings, Amazon, Ulta Beauty, and Target. Watched Netflix or like a few hours. (watching Alexa and Katie, Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, Outer Banks)
She left my house around 10:00 pm. I went to bed after she left. Today was a good day.
