Cheesy Lines
(Chapter Three- part 1)

Third P.O.V

Y/N cried out in surprise—the feeling of getting lifted from the warmth of the blankets catching her off guard.

The blonde-haired boy had lifted the short girl from their prior position and instead had her thrown over his shoulder. The girl huffed, propping her face in her hand as she rested her elbow on his back.

"P-Put me down," She stammered.

Dream's shoulder shook from under her. Small snorts made their way into the air, only annoying the smaller girl further.

"Three days, and he's already bullying me," The h/c haired girl whined.

"Three days, and she's already whining about it," He threw back.

"Shut." The e/c eyed lady glared.

Dream continued to tease the latter, who let herself hang on his shoulder while he moved around the room to the balcony.

"Okay?? Can we please at least get ready for the day? I swear you're a manchild," Y/N spoke.

"Hold on," He paused.

The chilly morning air breezed on the back of her legs. Y/N shuddered lightly.

The taller boy held the back of her knees tighter as he manoeuvred her off his shoulder.

Slowly, he placed her on the thin balcony barriers, her back to his chest. Her slender fingers found their way around the railing, keeping her balanced on her thighs.

"It's beautiful, right?" The green-eyed boy softly whispered. His hands held her waist firmly to keep her from falling forward off the ledge. (I almost wrote, " The soft boy whispered." BRUhHH)

"Yeah," Y/N replied, breathless.

The sky melted with warm colours, fading farther at the horizon line. The air was icy, but the rising suns soft warmth brushed on their skin. The air was moist with morning dew, and seas of mist sat on top of the grass below the hill.

"Pfft-" She snorted.

"What?!" His gaze moving from the wispy clouds to the girl he held close.

"You're a soft boy." She giggled.

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

Both of them bantered, debating whether he was a soft boy or not.

"How about we just say that Wilbur's the soft boy." Dream offered with a defeated expression.

"hm, fine, BUT-" She added when the blonde boy perked back up.

"But, you're a golden retriever boy, no arguing about it." She proceeded.

Dream shrugged his shoulders, picking her up off the railing and placing her back on her feet, not letting go of her hips.

"Good enough for me."

Y/N shivered a little. The ground was cold against her skin compared to Dream's warmth.

Both of you waddled your way back into the room, feeling the warm air swallow you, caressing your skin. The both of them sighed contentedly, giggling at themselves.

"You know you love me." You laughed.

He snorted. Shaking his head.

You gasped, putting a hand to your heart in exaggeration.
