"Really? You're going to act like I didn't just save your life!"
Jimin could only tell the truth
Yoongi who could tell when you lied
If only they knew they were the perfect match

Coming to a halt the two were bent over, hands on their knees; trying to catch their breaths. They then leisurely stood up, both collecting their rushing thoughts. The world around them seemed to quieten; its volume lowered or maybe it was the adrenaline pulsing through their system. They could hear the beating of their own hearts in their throats.
Staring at one another, caused the younger to release a giggle he didn't recall holding in. Red creeped up the tips of his ear, making him break the eye contact he was holding. The older one turned his gaze down only to kick at the ground, awkwardly.
"Uh- I'm sorry about that." Yoongi muttered, burning holes into the cement below, with his dark gaze.
Jimin jerked his head up from hearing the sudden apology.
"Why? This was my fault." The boy gave off a stern look, trying to seem put together in front of the other.
"Huh?" Yoongi glanced up, confused.
"Look here. I'm sorry I got you into this mess in the first place. If you hadn't followed me, this all could've been prevented." Jimin tried to reason.
The sudden sounds of dark clouds rolling in; clearly meant a storm was starting to brew above the two.
"Jimin, what the hell? If I wasn't there, what do you think would have happened-" Yoongi raised a brow, feeling agitated at the latter. The younger one stood there with his fists clenched by his sides, while he listened on with a tight mouth.
"-honestly I don't care that I got dragged into it. As long as you were safe." The man stated matter of fact.
"Thats the problem. Why is it always you." Jimin softly whispered to himself.
"What?"
"Why are you the one who always sees me at my worst? Why!" Jimin recalled out of the blue. Looking down he noticed how the small droplets of water had started to litter the ground.
He had almost forgotten the dark gray clouds that had rushed in at the worst time possible. It might begin to rain soon, he concluded.
Clearly the weather was reflecting his emotions.
"I'm sorry,"
"Don't apologize! You're making me feel guilty. Every time you're around you make my chest ache, my heart starts racing and it makes things so much harder to bear. Because, I know it's not right." The boy sadly uttered, still looking down watching the rain fall.
"Ji-"
"But I can't help it! I don't understand why my heart reacts like this, I thought the body was controlled by your mind. But, when you show up around me, my heart takes over and my body just seems to be on auto-pilot." Jimin continued on, ignoring the others' interruption.
"I can't help liking you, the more I get to know and learn about you, I just keep falling deeper. I thought if I kept my head low and avoided crossing paths with you, I would be better off-" Thunder started to rumble, making the younger flinch, mid rant. Brushing it off he continued.
"-I swear it was such a straightforward path for me, but then you came and I saw the way ur pathway was different them mine. Even though I went astray to follow you, I ended up lost. Clearly we weren't meant to be going the same way." Jimin cried. The tears falling to mingle with the rain water below.
"Jimin, I'm sorry-"
"No, I'm sorry. It's my fault. I didn't mean to love you so much-." Jimin trailed off.
"Jimin! Please stop talking for a second. You've been rambling on for so long, and haven't even let me get a word in. How is this fair?" Yoongi countered, giving a stern look at the boy. Embarrassed, Jimin hung his head low, apologizing once again.
"So you're tellin' me all this time you had been running from me instead of being straight-forward? This would have been so much easier, if you had just told me. I'm sorry that I didn't understand your feelings correctly from the start. If this was the case I could have ended your suffering long ago. Since we've got to this point. I would like to tell you something as well." The rain began to pour faster, really starting to dampen the two.
"Yeah?" Jimin mumbled, hating every second of this. He's already sure he's being rejected.
"I don't 'do' people, ever since I was young. You probably have noticed how I lock myself away from everyone around me. I don't even know how people work anymore, I never really did. The world just kept moving on while I hid. I didn't really have a place to fit in. And I'm sorry about that." Yoongi explained, feeling insecure about expressing his anxiety.
"So, y-you don't want me near you?" Jimin stuttered, feeling hurt.
"What? I never said that." Yoongi answered right away, stunned.
"Oh. then?" Jimin carefully asked, his wet strands of hair starting to stick to his face.
"I-" Yoongi looked off to the side, not sure how to reply. He's never done this in his life. Jimin glanced up at Yoongi knowing what he was going to say. His heart tightened just thinking about it. He couldn't live like this.
"We can learn to love, please-" Jimin pleaded with teary eyes. A silence covered the two, as they both gazed into each other's eyes. The world around them coming to a halt, and time pausing just for the two.
"Can I hold your hand? Just this once." Yoongi politely asked. Jimin nodded, sniffing.
A step taken forward, as the man delicately held the small hand, in his large one. With a small smile he spoke.
"For you," he softly mumbled. Bringing the other pale hand to youngers face, he wiped the tears from under his thumb. Then leaning in he placed a soft peck onto his plump cheek.
"I'm more than willing to try, love." He whispered to the boy. Under the cover of the rain, they closed the distance between the two, placing a delicate kiss.
