He couldn't mistake those silver locks so easily, he knew no one else had that colour in this building. But what was he doing huddled against the cement wall, fencing around the rooftop to secure it?

Yoongi hesitated, he could've turned around and left, since he wasn't much of a talker in the first place. But something was telling him, this might've been the reason he was being pulled to the rooftop in the first place. Ignoring all else he walked up to the boy, standing in front of him, overcasting a shadow.

The younger boy was sitting with his back towards the concrete wall, his knees pulled closer to his chest, hiding his face in his arms.

Yoongi stood there so quietly, not making a sound. Finally, a minute passed and he was done with his internal battle with himself.

"Uh- Jimin?" Yoongi finally spoke. The addressed boy startled, looked up to meet the cat-like eyes of the man standing in front of him.

Gulping, the boy glanced down at Yoongi's shoes, feeling vulnerable under the unintentional, but strong gaze.

"What are you doing up here?" Jimin muttered out, swiftly wiping the tears that had stained his cheeks.

"Nothing."

"Okay-"

"Were you crying?" Yoongi awkwardly questioned. One thing for sure he sucked at consoling people, or maybe he just never had a chance to be close to anyone to do such an act.

"Yeah..." Jimin answered, placing his chin on top of his arms. Obviously Jimin couldn't lie, and he wasn't planning on scaring his body with unnecessary lies.

"Oh."

"You mind if I sit?" Yoongi asked monotoned, already shuffling over next to the boy.

"Go ahead." Jimin replied truthfully. For some reason he really wanted Yoongi to stay with him, he's been wanting that forever. However, he always kept his distance because he knew his place, and was certainly not next to Yoongi.

They both sat side by side, Jimin being more closed off. Yoongi with his legs out in front, and his back leaning against the cold concrete.

"So... you want to talk about it?" Yoongi titled his head towards Jimin to see his facial expressions. He saw the way the boy tensed up, not to mention how his arms tightened around his knees at his words.

"Why are you being so odd today?" Jimin questioned instead, totally dodging the question.

"No reason." Yoongi deadpanned. He didn't even know himself why he was even doing this in the first place. He had no clue, just ended up going with the flow. He thought, maybe he was going to regret it later if he had just walked away. Something about Jimin made him feel... something, it was different, different from all the other people he had encountered before. He just wanted to know what it was.

"Now, tell me why you were crying." Yoongi spoke, in a more demanding tone. Yoongi clearly didn't know how to be subtle. He was more of a 'straight to the point' type of guy.

Jimin looked at Yoongi trying to read the guy, but he was emotionless. How did he even end up falling for a guy like him he only thought.

"Broke up with my boyfriend." Jimin bluntly responded, looking ahead.
