My name is Amaris and I'm 17. I have a famous brother who is the well-known, XXXTENTACION . No one really knows about me that much. Well, for now at least. As of right now the only thing the world knows about me is that I'm related to him. They don't know my name, my age, where I live or anything. I'm like a ghost and I'd like to keep it that way. I attend a music school here in LA. My brother mentioned that he'd be moving in with some of their friends in some new house. I stay with our parents just so they don't seem lonely and plus I'm their only daughter and the youngest, they're the most attached to me and other reasons. Right now, I'm getting ready to go to class.
"Amaris, can you come down here please?" my mom says.
"Yeah, hold on. I just needa get dressed and everything."
I head over to my closet and look for something to wear. I pull out an over-sized neon green shirt and some light blue ripped jeans. I slip on my outfit and go to my shoe closet and take out a pair of new white air forces that Jah got me. I pack my backpack, grab my phone and everything else I need then head downstairs to my parents. I drop my bag next to my seat at our table in the dining room and sit infront of my parents.
"So what's up?"
"Honey, we've got some news for you."
"Is it bad?"
"Not necessarily"
"What is it then?"
"Well me and your dad got a new job opportunity!"
"That's great guys, but i don't get what's so concerning about this?"
"Well, we have to move away for a while."
"To where?"
"Japan."
I stand up surprised and angry.
"JAPAN!?"
"Honey, please."
"Japan. You have to move all the way over there?"
"Yes."
"Where does that leave me?"
"Well we didn't want to leave you here alone or anything so we called up-"
Before my dad can finish his sentence, we hear knocking on the front door. I look at them and they just look towards the door. I lightly jog to the door and open it to see them.
