After the encounter with Katherine, the walk to Laroi's class room was quiet. I kept looking down at my feet and I could tell that Laroi had wanted to say something but was nervous to. I could see him in the corner of my eye, opening his mouth about to essay something but he'd quickly stop and close his mouth again. Eventually we get to a stop and I finally look up at him.
"This is my class, I'll go in real quick and be right back out alright?"
"Yeah, yeah no that's fine. I'll just sit over there," I say as I point to a table and two chairs that are just barely visible around the corner.
We nod our heads at each other and split. I walk over to the table and sit there quietly while on my phone waiting for him to come back. After maybe a minute or two, I decide to walk back to the room after it seems like it's been taking a little long just for him to drop his stuff off. As I turn the corner, I bump into someone and go crashing down to the floor. Ow....I get up and dust myself off as I try and look to see who I bumped into but I can't see. My glasses....you're telling me that whoever this is really knocked me down that hard that my glasses came off.
"Oh I'm sorry, you walk pretty quietly and I didn't see you. Are these glasses yours?"
The random boy sticks out his blur of an arm and I grab what's in his hands and they're my glasses. I put them on and I look up so I can get a face of who I just bumped into.
"Oh..you're new I see?"
Why'd he say it like that? He better not be on some weird stuff with me.
"Yeah, I am. First day actually."
"Well why are you here in this corner all by yourself? You're so lucky to have bumped into me just now! I can-
"I can take it from here Thomas, thank you."
Laroi, thank god. This guy sorta makes me uncomfortable.
"I was just going to show her around Laroi, that's all~ Poor thing was just here all by herself. Oh and she can't see a THING without those big glasses of hers."
"I think it's best if you just go ahead and go to wherever it is you need to be. I got her, she was with me originally and I'll make it so that it stays that way."
"Okay Mr.Stubborn, I'll leave you to her for now. I'll catch YOU around later miss."
With that, 'Thomas' walk away, deeper into the school. He seems weird but I'll admit I'm curious about him. Especially about what's between him and Laroi. I'm not dumb and I don't think anyone else is either, that tension when Laroi came over for me was so thick you could cut it with a pair of scissors. Me and Laroi start walking around the school and he points out all the major parts and important places to go in case I need something or whatever the case may be. In the middle though, I can't help but ask about him and Thomas.
"Sooooo, what's up with you and Thomas?"
"What do you mean? He isn't important to discuss right now, we're almost done with the school tour."
"You know exactly what I mean. The tension between the two of you was something serious."
"He just irritates me, that's all."
"But why does he? He just seems like your basic cocky person but that's all."
"Look, I told you that's all. Leave it alone."
"But I want to know, how am I supposed to just act like I didn't stumble upon something new about you and not ask about it."
"You know what, I've shown you around the needed parts of the school. I'm going to class."
"Laroi wait-"
He starts walking away from me, leaving me alone on the opposite side of the school in a random hallway. I should go follow him, but he didn't need to react like that. I asked in a non-bad way. He was petty and left me here alone knowing I still don't know my way around here. I sigh and start walking the direction that he went hoping to find somewhere that looks even a little familiar when instead, I see SOMEONE that looks familiar.

OKAY SIDE NOTE: I've gotten some messages and I didn't realize some people were actually looking to like the book. I've developed some time after my school that I will use to start writing consistently for this story again.
