Trey and Gary went to go wake Ash up but they noticed he wasn't there. So they search around the campus. It was Friday so they had no classes only pathway which started at 12 pm and ends at 2:30 pm. They then saw Ash in the gym training his pokemon.
"Hey Ashy Boy, what're you doing?" Gary asked
Ash looked back and said,"Hey Gary, don't call me that, and I'm training"
"What for?" Trey asked
"To take on Roy and beat him" Ash said
Gary and Trey both started at eachother and started laughing. Than Trey said
"Ok on a serious note, you can't beat him"
"What why?" Ash asked
"Aside from Red he's one of the strongest trainer" Trey said
"Not only that he won the Sinnoh league" Gary said
"I'm a champion! That's nothing" Ash said
Trey said,"I have a friend, who's far stronger than you, even he lost to Roy"
Gary said,"This is what Roy was talking about, because your champion your now being cocky, but no matter what there's always someone stronger than you"
"You guys really doubt my skills, I'll prove you wrong!" Ash said
He returned his pokemon and walked away. Leaving Gary and Trey there
Meanwhile 2 guys walked in they turned to look who it was. It was Red and Roy
"Looks like a battle boutta play out" Gary said
Trey said"Let's stay and watch this"
"GOOO POLIWRATH" Roy said
Red said,"NOW OUT CHARIZARD"
Roy: Hydro Canon
Red: Quick use Fire Blast
The 2 moves collided resulting in smoke
Red:NOW CHARIZARD METAL CLAWWW!
Roy: Counter with Poison Jab
Metal Claw overpowered poison jab resulting in Poliwrath taking damage
Roy:Now Poliwrath ROCK WRECKER!
Red:What!.. Quick Charizard wing attack
Rock Wrecker hit charizard resulting in massive damage
Red:Charizard let's end this! FULL POWER BLAST BURN
Roy: QUICK USE HYDRO CANON
These 2 moves caused smoke once it cleared, Poliwrath was down for the count. And unable to battle
Red said,"Return"
"Tch... I'll beat you next time" Roy left as he returned his pokemon
Red then left too
"Danng that was intense" Gary said
Trey said,"Yeah no kidding!"
Trey than remembered something and said,"I gtg cya"
"Oh ok" Gary said
Trey than ran to the Great Wisteria Tree and saw Leaf
"Hey what's up" Trey said
"Hey Trey" Leaf said
Trey said,"Sorry we met late last night"
"It's no problem" Leaf said
"So any word from him?" Trey asked
Leaf said,"He says he's busy... but sometimes I wonder, what is he busy doing?"
Trey sat down on the bench and said,"Yeah, that's just the way he is, ever since we were kids remember?"
Leaf said,"Yeah, those were good o times"
"Yep and when we all got our first pokemon together" Trey said
"Yeah, he was really kind even tho it didn't seem like it, letting us pick our pokemon first" Leaf said
Trey said,"That's why this is our meeting place because as kids..."
"We would always play at the Wisteria tree" Leaf said
"Yeah.." Trey said
They both than looked up into the sky thinking about their childhood friend
"Okay, Mallow I'm almost ready" Dawn said
"Hey Hilda, wanna come get breakfast with Dawn and I?" Mallow asked
Hilda replied,"No, but thank you"
"ok then, if you say so" mallow responded
Mallow and Dawn than left, leaving Hilda there. She then grabbed her phone and looked at it, she read delivered 1 day ago, she said to herself
"what's happened between us, why won't you answer"
