Ash pov
I woke up bright and early this time. Trey and Gary were playing GTA 5 as usual.

"Hey Gary, Trey I'm heading out" I said

Gary asked, "Why you in such a hurry, Ashy boy?"

I said, "I was planning to eat breakfast with Dawn and ask her something"

Gary then turned at me and smirked, "Be safe, Ashy boy"

However I had no idea what Gary meant. All I could see was Trey and Gary cackling. I shrugged it off and left. I went to Dawn dorm and knocked

"Oh.. hey Ash, Dawn not here" mallow said as she was about to close the door.

I stopped it and asked, "do you know where she is tho?"

Scarlet said, "I'm sure you'll find her tho, now bye" as she closed the door

I thought to myself and said man that was weird

Hilda pov
I slowly got out of bed as I got up, I could hear the others girls talking

Leaf said, "Why didn't you want to see Ash?"

Dawn said, "I need to spend less time with him"

Scarlet responded, "You don't have to listen to that douche bag"

Dawn said, "I know but I need to"

Mallow said, "Just know this Dawn, we are here for you"

I was happy for Dawn really, but lately all they talked about was Dawn this, Dawn that, no need to worry Dawn. It started to get annoying. So after hearing this, I hope that this would all go away. After 20 minutes and everyone had left, I decided to go and get some breakfast, I went by myself. While I was getting food I bumped into this boy.

"Hey sorry" I nervously said

The boy said, "No worries, the name Trey" as he held his hand out

"I'm Hilda" I said shaking his hand

He then said, "Wait a minute, your that girl who made it in top 32 of the Unova League"

This shocked me and I nervously said, "How did you know that?"

"My friend participated in it that's why" he nervously chuckled

I was shock, "my friend was in the Unova league too"

"Oh really, who?" Trey asked

"Ryker" I said

"No way! That was my friend" he excitedly said

"Wow that shocking" I awkwardly said

Trey and I hit it off, after that we talked about Ryker and all the leagues. No.. don't get the wrong idea, I don't like Trey. Sure he's nice but no. Trey had mentioned how he wanted to be a Fire type specialist. So I decided to show him my Emboar, he then showed me his Charizard and Blaziken.

Trey walked me to my class and that's when we said our goodbyes.

I walked in and to my surprise Dawn was at our table. She normally sat with Ash, May and the others. I sat down and asked
"What are you doing here Dawn?"

Dawn then said, "I'm sitting with y'all what else" she said with a smile.

Roy then said, "I don't need another one of y'all here"

Scarlet then elbowed Roy and while flirting said, "You could use some more experience with other women"

That caused Roy to blush in fact Scarlet was blushing  too. However Dawn responded with
"What do you mean by 'one of y'all'?"

Ash pov
I decided to go to class early to wait for Dawn. But when I saw her walk in she walked pass me and went to go sit with Roy and the others. Like really Roy?! She didn't even say hey to me. I didn't know what was going on.

What was Dawn doing and why was she doing this. For the rest of the day I tried asking her about homecoming but she would somehow avoid me. I didn't enjoy this, I assumed Dawn wasn't feeling good so I left her alone

It's been about a week and Dawn been acting strange. Some days she would be talking to me all the time while other days she would completely avoid me. Homecoming was tomorrow, so I didn't know whether or not if Dawn still wanted to go. But whenever we did talk and I brought it up she would ignore it or change the subject.

I then gave up. Not knowing what to do I asked Trey and Gary
"So what should I do guys?"

Gary said, "Based on what I heard, it seems she playing hard to get"

I said, "Why though"

"No clue" Gary responded

Trey then confidently responded with, "Give her a taste of her own medicine"

We both looked at Trey and asked what he meant

Trey simply said, "If she's gon play with your feelings like that. Then you need to do it right back at her"

I said, "But why would I do that, I hardly see her. She mostly been hanging out with her friends and Paul"

Trey than yelled, "That gives you the even more reason to. Dawn thinks you can just be one of her boy toys. Prove her wrong and make her jealous"

Gary and I didn't like the idea. But I did consider the idea. I didn't understand Dawn at all. Why was she doing this. It was 8 pm, I went to Dawn dorm, hoping she was there. However she wasn't, it was leaf she told me Dawn was busy and leaf left as usual.

I didn't know what to do. My heart felt the same as it did when the Dawn and Serena incident occurred. I didn't know why, but I love having Dawn around. She was my everything and seeing her avoid me or play with my feelings it... it ..hurts me. As I was walking back out in the distance I saw Paul and Dawn walking together...

Seeing this angered me and I ran up to them. I had enough of this, I needed answers. I wanted to know what I did wrong. I wanted Dawn to talk to me again like we used to. Dawn saw me and said
"Ash?! What are you doing?"
