Dawn pov
As the boy came in, I prayed to myself that it was Ash. Only for it to be the man of the hour, Gary. I sighed

I said, "Where's Ash?"

Gary ignored Dawn and told the teacher something that we couldn't hear. Professor Oak nodded his head and said
"I see... hmmm in some cases I wouldn't allow that but I guess I'll allow it"

Gary said, "Thanks Gramps" as he left the class to do something

I wanted to asked Gary where Ash was, but it was to late. I checked my phone to see if Ash had texted me back, he didn't.

School without Ash wasn't any fun, I wasn't my usual myself without him. Then I realized this is probably what he had felt. I felt like a horrible person. I was so upset and angry at myself

It was the end of the day, I haven't gotten any text back from him after calling and texting him several times. I decided not to go to homecoming, so I went to my dorm and went straight to my bed and flopped on it.

I heard Mallow asked, "You aren't going to homecoming?"

I said, "No"

"That makes two" Hilda said

Mallow asked, "Did no boys ask you guys out?"

We shook our head and i said, "Kenny and 3 other guys asked me"

I then became angry after I heard myself say Kenny. This all started because of him. So I took my phone out and blocked him. I didn't need involve in my life anymore. I then heard Hilda said,
"Yeah same bunch of randos asked me out"

Leaf asked, "Why didn't you say yes?"

Hilda irritatedly said, "I already told y'all, I like someone else"

Leaf said, "I don't remember you telling me"

Hilda said, "Later, get ready for your date" with a wink

It was 6 pm, homecoming was starting in 30 minutes as for our couples attending we have

Hilda and I were the only ones who were left in our dorms. We were both pretty upset and slumped on the couch. I then asked
"So Hilda, any word from this boy?"

I then saw Hilda with a sadden facial expression and she replied, "No"

Being bored and Ash not responding I decided to turn on the TV. There was then a PWC battle happening, this reminded me of Ash so I decided to flip the channel

"Wait!!" Hilda screamed

I jumped from the couch, "What's wrong?!"

"Go back!!" Hilda screamed

I said, "ok ok ok"

I flipped back and then I saw her excitedly screamed, "I knew it, it's him!"

I looked at the TV and saw a black hair trainer with a head band. And asked, "Who?"

"Ryker!" She screamed with life

I then thought long and hard. And remember my little sis Dusk talking about a boy she liked name Ryker. I then slumped further down the couch and murmured
"Oh boy"

"Shhh! The battle starting"
