"I'm home." I yelled walking in the house.

"Leave again." Zyair sat down in the living room on his phone.

"Shut up." I mushed his head and sat down beside him.

"I don't want a baby shower no more move." My mother cried coming down the steps.

"You don't even have a real reason to be crying, I told you, you ugly when you cry so stop it." He followed her and Zyair chuckled.

"Momma what's wrong?" I asked.

"Not shit." My daddy sat down.

"Your daddy said he didn't love me no more." She sniffed.

"I ain't say that shit, I said I wasn't gone get you some Juicy Crab." He said dryly and she stopped crying automatically like nothing happened.

"Ma really?"  Zyair said.

"Leave her alone she emotional." I laughed.

"Y'all just love to kick me while I'm down, that's okay cause when I give birth I'm leaving all y'all alone." She mumbled as the doorbell rung.

"Who is that?" I whispered.

"Oh an old friend that I got back in touch with." My momma stood up. "I ain't know she was coming over today.

"Shauni?" My daddy asked.

"Yea." She said.

"Chantelle why the fuck you invited her over here she was never yo' real friend." My daddy said causing me and Zyair to look at each other.

"She said she needed to talk to me." My mother said.

"Wait you said Shauni?" I asked. "That's Xavier's birth mom.

"This lil nigga just related to everybody damn." My daddy mumbled and my mother had a face that I ain't know too well.

"Omg." She dragged.

"This yo' karma for messing wit' a psychopath now his son dating our daughter and all that shit finna come back up wit everybody else." My daddy said.
