"Okay can you just tell me what you was thinking cause I can't figure it out." I said as my father was driving back home.
"I think- Why the fuck his old ass gone get in front of me knowing he drive slow." He honked his horn. "Dumbass." He said.
"Omg." I mumbled putting my seatbelt on and my dad switched into the other lane at the red light.
"Is there a problem mother fucker." The old white man said rolling down his window. I ain't never heard no cursing word sound so proper.
"Man take yo' old ass on." He said.
"I'm talking to you." The old man said sounding like he was out of breath.
"Die somewhere sounding like a damn gta pedestrian." My dad said.
"Fuck you motherfucker." He said holding up the wrong finger.
"Dumbass, enjoy your day while you got the rest of it." My dad said. "Cause it most definitely look like you on yo' death bed." He chuckled and turned right once the light was green.
"I- why you tell that man that." I laughed.
"Cause he do, one McDonald's sprite and he gone, he look old as hell." He laughed.
That felt like the longest red light ever.
"And you said momma road rage was worse." I said.
"It is." He said.
"Alright Back on topic." I said.
"You right." He said. "I think Langston put Shauni up to getting back in touch wit' yo' momma and getting the address but if not then Shauni most definitely know that he alive." He said.
"He know yo' momma too nice and be giving second chances too much and sooner or later he gone try to get back in touch wit' Xavier and put shit in his ear if he hasn't already." He explained.
"How is that reaching- you was just gone keep all that in your head." I said.
"Cause I couldn't connect it how I wanted to." He said.
