"Uh oh." I mumbled.

"Nah I'm finna go." My momma said grabbing Kaleigh from my granny and my daddy just looked at his sister with nothing but hate in his eyes.

"Who dat' is?" Monte asked.

"I thought you left, what the hell." Jasmine jumped cause he was standing behind her.

"You knew she was coming here?" My dad asked his father.

"Edna fat ass probably said something." He mugged his sister.

"I ain't fat I'm fluffy." She said.

"So what my whole family disowning me now?" She asked. "What happened dad you ain't wanna tell me about the family reunion?" She asked.

"Brielle don't start no mess." My grandaddy sighed.

"How I'm starting mess when my own brother don't even talk to me because of his bitch." She raised her voice.

"Who the fuck you talking to?" My parents both said in unison.

"My momma ain't no bitch." Zyair said and I was looking for something to throw but I couldn't find nothing in sight so I was finna throw my slide.

"Aht, put yo' shoe back on." My granny grabbed my arm.

"How I'm the reason he don't talk to you, when yo' dumbass the reason Langston came to our house in the first place." My momma said.

"He ain't have a problem with my brother until you came along." She said.

"You forgetting I knew her longer than you I ain't know you until you was 20, go back to me not knowing you I don't fuck wit' you." My dad said.

"Come on Nahmir that's not right, that's blood- I don't give a fuck, she knew what she was doing when she even did that shit." He cut Edna off.

"That was years ago Nahmir, just talk to your sister and let it go." Edna said.

"Both of us including my child could've lost our lives that day, ain't no letting it go and it don't matter if it was years ago, you don't know what we had to go through after that happened." My mother spoke up.

Family can be so foul at times. I'll never cross my brother for nobody and I just find it weird that she gave him the address knowing they had already got into a fight at her party. Ain't no way she ain't know that they were still beefing.

"I looked after you when you was grown as hell making sure you had support wit' the shit you was dealing wit' and that's how you repaid me. You can keep that bullshit ass apology and bond. I'm gone, don't say shit to me." He said.

"Nahmir just listen." She said.

"MY CREW LET'S GO." He said and we followed him out the backyard but Jasmine yanked my arm. I was already ready to go cause that whole situation just pissed me off.
