Me and my mom was double checking everything before we left since it was time to close up. With her being pregnant I have to help out here more than usual, but she's stubborn so she insists on working until the baby drop.
"You know what's going on with Zyair?" She asked.
"Yea but it's really not my place to tell you I'd rather he explain to you thoroughly before you jump to conclusions like daddy." I said.
"Untun I don't like that last sentence re word it." She said.
"I ain't mean it like that." I made a yikes face.
"At least tell me what your father told him cause Zyair texted me talking bout some he finna lose respect for him?" She questioned it.
"All I gotta say is he did too much in my opinion, but you know they always bump heads." I shrugged.
"Yea cause they act the exact same way." She mumbled walking out.
"Imma trail you to the house." I said walking to my car.
"Alright." She said going to her car.

"Bring y'all ass downstairs." My momma raised her voice while she wobbled side to side.
"Stop all that damn yelling." My daddy said coming from the kitchen.
"I yell if I want to." She sat down as my brother came downstairs mugging.
"What's the problem?" She asked.
"I don't have a problem." My father said.
"Zyair." She said.
"He overreacting like he always do. They sent this girl nudes in the group chat and it got leaked. I laughed cause somebody said "that's tuff" but even after that I told them that they was wrong for doing that and I ain't said nothing in that group chat since cause I ain't tryna have that fall back on me." He said.
"Why you ain't just leave the group chat?" She asked.
"Exactly what I asked- Aht I ain't talking to you." She cut my daddy off and I had to stop myself from laughing as he looked at her with the side eye.
"Stop tryna lil boy me." He said.
"I ain't leave it cause that's the group chat for the football team." He said and that caught my attention.
