Sakuras a mermaid?

Summary: Sakura Haruno is a genin ninja, but she can keep a secret from her academy class, but can she keep the secret from her team and the boy she loves dear?

Oneshot includes: Sasusaku fluff and team 7 fluff

Takes place in a random Forest (Genin era)

Sakura Haruno was on a mission with her team, they are known as Team 7

The members of Team 7 are known to be; Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake and Sakura Haruno.

They were about to set up camp for the night.

"Dobe, go get some sticks so we can start a fire"

Naruto sneered before speaking, "Why can't you do it, Teme?"

Sasuke groaned, Sakura uncomfortably stood there fiddling with her pointer fingers before speaking up, "Can I go to the lake and wash off..?"

Naruto's sour mood sweetened at the sound of her sweet voice, "Of Course, Sakura-Chan!"

Sakura nodded and walked down the dirt path, Kakashi narrowed his eyes at his female student.

"Sasuke, follow her, make sure she doesn't get hurt"

"Hai, Sensei" Sasuke nodded and jumped up into the trees to follow the Pinkette.

Sakura's POV

I walked down the path fiddling with my fingers, it was dark out so hopefully nobody will be able to see me.

I arrived at the lake, I turned my head left then right to make sure nobody was watching.

I sighed then smiled, "Transform"

My legs began to shimmer as magic transformed them into a tail and fin.

I took a deep sigh of relief, "I missed my tail for a while"

I dove under the water and swam.

Sasuke's POV (Before she transformed)

I followed my female teammate as she walked down the path fiddling with her fingers, due to it being dark I couldn't see her very well.

"This is pointless" I thought to myself, but continued to follow the Pinkette until she made it to the lake.

She turned her head left and right, maybe making sure it's safe, I cocked up an eyebrow.

She smiled and sighed, "Transform"

My eyes narrowed before her legs started to glow.

She took a deep sigh of relief, "I missed my tail"

She dove under the water.

My eyes wide open at the sight.

"Sakura's a mermaid..?"

Sakuras POV

"WHAT THE HECK!?"

She flinched under the water, she rose up to the surface and saw Sasuke standing in front of the lake with wide Onyx eyes.

"S-Sasuke-Kun!"

"H-He knows! I'm so dead!"

Sasuke inhaled then exhaled and closed his eyes.

"Sakura, why didn't you tell us you were a mermaid?"

I fiddled with my fingers once more.

"B-Because most humans kill mermaids if they find out we exist...my father is a mermaid so I gained it from my father.."

Sasuke was bewildered, until he sighed.

"Come on, let's get back to camp, you have to tell Kakashi Sensei and the Dobe your secret and if they try anything I'll protect you"

My face glowed bright pink as he extended his hand for me to take.

I placed my hand in his as he pulled me out of the water, "de-transform"

I smiled brightly at him as I walked with him back to camp.

"Sakura-Chan!" Naruto brightened, but went sour at the sight of Sasuke, "Teme"

Sasuke sighed before speaking, "Sakura has something she has to tell you both"

I took a deep breath and exhaled, "I-I'm a mermaid.."

Kakashi and Naruto went silent.

"That's so cool, Sakura-Chan!" Naruto tackled me into a hug.

I was bewildered, "R-Really..?"

"Of course! No matter what kind of creature you are, your still Sakura-Chan!"

3rd person POV

Sakura's eyes teared up as they ran down her cheeks.

"S-Sakura-Chan! I'm so sorry! Did I hurt you!?"

Sakura shook her head and smiled, "I'm so happy and relieved you still accept me!"

Kakashi ruffled the Pinkette's hair, "I'll always accept you, your my student, and nothing will change that"
