Sakura's a mermaid (2 Plotwists)

Ight so, request from: Baddie_Kawaii

She/He/They (Idk your pronouns and I don't want to be rude and accidentally mistake it) wanted me to do plot twists for the mermaid oneshot I did.

They wanted two plot twists and said I could think of one also.

They're plotwist was 'Sakura has a bath in the river while in her mermaid form and when she comes out of the river a tiger comes out from the darkness of the woods' Btw I reworded that myself since I didn't really understand when they wrote theirs in the comments.

My plotwist was 'A ninja disguised as a pirate out to kill mermaids finds Sakura and her teammates step in to protect her'

Let's do Kawaii's plotwist first, going to start where she's in the water

Plotwist 1

Sakura sat comfortably in the river, swishing her tail around underneath the water.

Sasuke sat on a rock near the river right next to her, still not believing she was a mermaid all along.

As soon as she got out of the river and called off her transformation, the bushes near the trees ruffled.

Sasuke jumped off the rock and crouched in front of her in a protective position.

They slowly backed up against a tree, Sakura's fingernails digging into Sasuke's shoulder just like the bark digging into Sakura's back.

The bushes ruffled a bit more while Sasuke opened up his satchel and grabbed a Kunai just in case.

As soon as he did that, a tiger pounced from the bushes towards the duo.

Sasuke pushed Sakura away from him as she rolled across the ground away from Sasuke.

The Tiger pounced on Sasuke, trying to bite him.

In the last second, Sasuke used his Kunai to hold it in the tigers mouth to prevent it from eating him.

Sasuke is currently on his back against the tree bark, holding a Kunai in the tigers mouth and trying to use his feet to kick it away.

Sakura, on the ground, shakily crouched while watching the scene.

She opened her sachel and got a Kunai.

She slowly moved behind the duo.

She pounced onto the tiger, stabbing it in the back.

The Tiger roared in pain, using this to advantage, Sasuke kicked the tiger with his feet, away from him.

The Tiger ran off into the woods in retreat, Sakura's Kunai still lodged in it's back.

The two were breathing heavily.

"Well, that could have gone better!" Sakura joked, sweating, trying to lighten the mood.

Sasuke just gave her a blank stare.

Sakura pulled Sasuke into a hug.

Tears flowed down Sakura's cheeks as Sasuke's hands shook when they hooked around Sakura's torso.

"I-I thought you were going to die!" Sakura sobbed, putting her face on his shoulder, his sleeve being soaked by her tears.

"It takes a lot more than a dumb tiger to kill an Uchiha" Sasuke spoke, smirking acting smug.

"You sound like Naruto" Sakura joked, giggling.

Sasuke blanched, "disgusting dobe"

Plotwist 2

Sakura slowly got out of the water, Sasuke taking her hand to help her out while calling off her transformation.

They walked down the dirt path until they reached the camp.

Kakashi and Naruto sitting there roasting Marshmallows.

Naruto brightened when he saw, "Sakura-Chan!"

Naruto then scowled, "Teme"

Sakura giggled while Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Dobe"

Kakashi turned to the duo, "Ah, Sakura, Sasuke. You took a while, did something while Sasuke went to get you?" Kakashi asked, smiling weirdly under the mask.

The top of Sasuke's ears went red, while Sakura's face went bright pink, rivalling her hair.

"N-No! Baka sensei!" Sakura stuttered, crossing her arms with a huff and turning away from her teacher.

"Ah, Gomen. Come join us then"

Sasuke and Sakura slowly walked over, until a Kunai whizzed from the tree towards Sakura.

Sasuke went in front of Sakura and used his Kunai to block the other one.

Kakashi, alarmed, stood up, "Who's there?"

A light laugh came from the trees, confusing the 4 ninjas on which tree the laugh came from.

The ninja came out from the tree, jumping from the branch onto the dirt.

Slowly standing up, the ninja crossed his arms and spoke, "Hello, fellow ninjas"

The team gave eachother a look before turning their attention back to the ninja.

"What business do you have with us?" Kakashi asked.

The ninja chuckled, "Well, you see, I'm here because I have to hunt mermaids, since I'm a pirate" the ninja lied.

"Pirates don't use Kunai, who are you really?" This time it was Sasuke who spoke.

The ninja turned to Sasuke, "Ah, clever little fella. Fine, I'm a ninja out to hunt mermaids"

"That doesn't explain why you tried to stab Sakura with a Kunai" Kakashi spoke, Sasuke and Sakura slowly became pale.

The ninja then smirked, "Ah, but it does. Because that little girl over there..." The ninja pointed over to Sakura, still shielded behind Sasuke, "Is the species I'm hunting"

Kakashi and Naruto turned to the duo, surprised.

"S-Sakura-Chan...your a mermaid..?" Naruto spoke, scared and confused.

"W-Well...I-!" Sakura tried to speak, but the words wouldn't come out

"Now, if y'all would just give me the girl, I'll be out of your hair"

Kakashi turned to the ninja, "Not a chance"

The ninja shrugged, "Fine, let's do this the hard way" Shurikens in both hands, the ninja striked.

*I'm too lazy to do fight scenes so after the fight*

The 4 stood panting, bodies littered with cuts as they stared at the ninja dead, slowly bleeding out on the floor.

Naruto then turned to the Pinkette, "Sakura-Chan, why didn't you tell us?" Naruto asked, hurt.

Sakura, rubbing her arm nervously, answered, "I just thought you'd be the same and try to kill me too once you found out..."

Naruto pulled Sakura in a bone crushing hug, "Never, Sakura-Chan!"

Sasuke smirked while Kakashi smiled under the mask, eye crinkled.

Sakura slowly hugged the blonde back, glad to be blessed with a great team.
