07: Sons only take after their Fathers' negative attributes part 2.
"GIN, Kagura, Shinpachi, Otose-san! I'm back~"
"Yume-nee!" the two kids exclaimed—with Kagura throwing the robot she is spinning in the air down to the ground and running up to her and engulfing her in a hug.
"Oi, oi. Look who's back from strolling," Putting down the robot arms he is holding, Gintoki turned towards her with his arms crossed. "You shrimp. How dare you go on your own and ditch work huh? And what's with that stupid grin of yours? Did you win on some sort of lottery?" the man asks with a frown while Yume just smiled widely.
"Aww, did you miss me that much Gintoki?" Yume teased, making Gintoki click his tongue. The deadpan look on his face clearly amusing Yume.
"We were worried about you Yume-nee. You just suddenly disappeared! Shinpachi and I thought you got lost again." The yato girl replied worriedly.
Transferring the other bag on her other hand, Yume petted the young girl's head. "I'm sorry Kagura-chan. My head was really aching so bad a while ago so I had to buy some medicine for it A.S.A.P. I will try my best to not disappear like that again."
"You shouldn't have come if you weren't feeling well." Otose sighs before huffing and puffing her cigarette. "I can handle this stupid perm head so you better go home and take a rest, Yume." the old lady added to which Yume chuckled.
"Thank you for your concern Otose-san but I'm feeling a lot better now. I've already drank some medicine on my way back here." Her gaze then travelled back towards Kagura who was still clinging unto her. "Besides, I already gave my word to the kids. I can't afford to let them down." She smiled, fondly stroking the yato girl's head. The kids looking at her with a clearly moved expressions on their face.
"Anyways, I bought some juice for everyone!~" Gently pulling herself away from the Kagura, Yume took some cans of her favorite sweet ice tea out from one of her bag and started distributing it to everyone. Firstly of course to the cute yato girl, then to Shinpachi, then to Otose, and lastly—walking past by Gintoki, towards the old man tied against the post.
"Oi, Yume-kun. Why aren't you giving me some?" Gintoki complained. A small irk mark appearing under his right eye but Yume just ignored him and crouched down in front of the said old man.
"You must be Hiraga-san, right? Would you like some of this too?"
"Oi, Yume! Are you ignoring me!?"
"I wouldn't mind having some but can you untie me first, young lady?"
'Am I still considered as a young lady?' Yume wondered.
Pushing the unnecessary thought away, Yume turned her head towards Shinpachi who shook his head sidewards as an answer.
"Sorry, Hiraga-san but it seems that I'm not allowed to do that." she apologized.
"Tch, it's pretty obvious that you can't give him some so hand that over to me instead—oiii!! Why did you drink that!? Why didn't you give it to me!?"
