I did meet Niall a couple hours later.

I rolled out of bed at one in the afternoon. I texted Niall asking him which movie theater he wanted to meet at. He responded, telling me the Broadway cinema, which had been abandoned a few years back. I didn't question it. I trusted him.
After getting ready, I went down stairs.

"Where are you going?" my mom asked, looking shocked. I laughed at her facial expression before answering her.

"Out." I said. She rose her eyebrows, obviously wanting to know more than that. "With a friend." I finished.

"What friend?" she asked.

"An old friend. Bye mom." I said, walking out the door. I walked down the sidewalk toward the broken down building which was, uncoincidentally, a few block down from my house. Turning the corner, I bumped right into someone.

"Ah, shit. I'm sorry." I said, seeing I had knocked the strangers drinks out of their hand.

"It's fine." The guy said, with a thick accent. Who wasn't a stranger but my 'old friend'.

"Niall." I breathed out. He snapped his head up at me, looking at my neck, where I had a red ribbon tied to it. He chuckled.

"Nix." He said. "You weren't kidding about the ribbon, huh?"

"Oh, no, Niall, I never kid about these kind of things. Sorry I knocked your drinks out your hand." I said.

"Its okay. One of them was actually  yours, so." He said. I nodded and just looked at him. "So, did you actually want to go to a movie or?" he asked.

"Nah, we can just hang out and talk if you want." I said.

"Alright." He said. "You're very pretty."

"Yeah, you too." I laughed. He opened his arms slightly as if asking for a hug. I leaned towards him a little bit to see if that's what he wanted. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. I sighed.

"Okay, lets go get some hot chocolate since it looks like you had an accident." I teased and let go of  him.
