A long time ago. Dokja read two book series that piqued his interest.

**********

A sixteen year old Kim Dokja found a book series. The series had a lot of good and nice comments and feedbacks so he decided to check it out.

The growing teen read the first book of the series, immersing himself in the book's world. Reading and understanding the words diligently until he finished three books in only one week. From him reading the new chapters of WOS, sometimes re-reading his favourite chapters and scenes before reading the series after it.

The teen boy wasn't really that motivated to read the series anymore as he really wasn't that interested or invested with the main character. As he was too much of a hero or something in his perspective.

"Ughh! Might as well read the fourth one."

As he read the fourth one, he got interested in one particular character.

Motivated, he read the series in one week. Just to find and read his favourite character's moments. Scenes and lines that he always anticipate.

When he finished it...

He was disappointed.

"That's it?..."The disappointment and dissatisfaction clear in his tone of voice and dark eyes. "Is that really it? No more?... Nothing?"

The teen surfed through the internet finding more about the specific character he likes. Canon or headcanon. He read it. He wants to know more. Yet there was only a few fanfics and all of them were either well-made but on-hold or dropped, still on-going but rubbish. It irritated him so much that he almost burnt the book series'.

In the end, he read his favourite novel. Calming hisself down and almost immediately forgetting the irritation, disappointment and dissatisfaction from earlier.

He never read the book series' again. The books discarded in his bookshelf. Dust covering it throughout the years.

"Don't you dare step out of that door without getting sleep." the long haired Korean woman threatened. Eyes showing fiery fire judgement and punishment.

"You need to rest, Dokja-ssi." A brown haired Korean woman reminded. Hands on the shoulder of the pale and skinny man in white coat. Hands tightening it's hold on his shoulder whenever he attempts to stand up.

"I'm really fine. We still need to plan out for the next scenario then—" Dokja, the man who was threatened for not resting was cut off.

Dark eyes that turns to gold every now and then glaring at Kim Dokja. The owner of the pair of orbs already full of the reader's poor excuses.

"Sleep."

Now, usually Kim Dokja would make a retort, scoff, ignore and just not tolerate the man. But this time, his mind, body, stories and even his exclusive skill are telling him to just follow their orders or demands because he truly needed it.

Kim Dokja's stubborn side really want to argue back and go out of his room in the Company and just plan their way for the next scenario. But as his head laid on the soft pillow. The sweet bliss and comfort of sleep entered his system.
