The grandfather, the ever scary and evil, Titan of Time is actually now a great and kind grandfather to Nico di Angelo.

Although, his body is crushed by Gaea, his spirit remained. Floating along with the only living demigod on Earth, the Ghost King.

Now, with the hopes of changing the future lying in his grandson's hands. He hopes for redemption of his past self. Changing everything and making everything right.

"Grandpa?" Kronos looked at his ragged yet still handsome grandson looking no where as his spirit isn't visible to any eyes. "How will you remember your promise?"

Kronos, although kind of dumb in the past, had thought of it in advance. To not break the child's and his hope of a new future. To not break the promise he made in the river of Chaos.

"I will eventually remember it, grandson." Still the look of doubt on the son of Hades's face didn't waver.

"How? How long?" Kronos sighed, knowing full well about the boy's concern.

"The river of Chaos and a chance with the Loom of life will let me remember." The look of confusion with a mix of understanding flashing in Nico's chocolate brown eyes made his grandfather chuckle.

"Then, what time will you send me?"

"It depends on how much of my power that's left can travel you, grandson. I'm sure the Loom of Life will help me, though."

"Please, don't send me somewhere in the middle of the war, Gramps. I don't want to die immediately after time-traveling." Nico groaned, which he replied with a nod, that wasn't really seen by anyone.

"I'll try my best, Nico."

"You better."

Both smiled, Kronos at Nico and Nico at where he suspected his Grandfather is floating.

"Son of Hades..." The fates called. The amused smile on their tired faces not going unnoticed at the duo. "Are you ready?"

"Iwas never ready."

With that, the son of Hades travelled in time. A promise of changing the future for the better.

Nico didn't know if it's just the memories coming back or he did successfully came back to the past but he heard his Father's voice calling out to him. His dad...

"—co! Nico! Wake up this instance!" and with a jolt, the son of Hades did woke up. And boy did he curse his self for jinxing his own self.

Really?!  In the middle of the war?!

"Dad?" Nico looked at the looming figure of his father. The father that cared and loved him in the ruined future he saw. The father that he never knew, loved him too.

"W-what did you just called me?! We're in the middle of a–... You're surrounded by white aura." Nico suddenly remembered the tips and warnings the fates told him.

"The gods will see an aura surrounding you to identify yourself as a time-traveler."

"We'll talk about this later. For now, a war is brewing." Persephone said, her beautiful and threatening figure behind the time-traveler's father. His step-mother. His only living mother-figure.

"We will." Nico agreed, before standing up and eyeing the ongoing battles around them. The army of Skeletons that Nico and his Dad summoned. The demigods fighting for their lives and the world. "I need to find him, first. Let's talk later, Dad. Mom." He nodded his head at them, ignoring their momentary shocked expressions as he ran towards where his Grandfather is.
