Curiosity In Her Eyes

Ina'nis had curiosity in her eyes the whole time. At the start of the day, she first gained them when she saw the young boy, Tommy, running about trying to make an Ender Chest. She knew this because he kept talking to himself about it. What made her even more curious was when he found an Ender Chest, only to reject it outright.

"Humu humu... You don't want it? But I thought you wanted an Ender Chest." Ina said to Tommy.

"I said I wanted to make an Ender Chest, not receive it as a pity gift. Especially from Eret!" Tommy said. Eret. Ina didn't know who he was, but she knew from Tommy's ramblings that he was definitely not his friend. She continued to listen to Tommy prattle on about how he hated to be pitied or that no one said hi to him. She knew better than to pry...

Especially since Kiara had put the kid on edge, having followed him around like a hawk ever since she met that green man in the mask. Thankfully, Calli distracted her long enough for him to be 'alone'. Well, as alone as he could be with five other people in his area. However, Ina'nis saw fit to see Tommy be left alone when, during his talk with himself, he brought up that he wanted to make Logstedshire a better place all by himself. She decided to keep a large distance from Tommy to give him his space and watched with inquisitiveness, only interfering to take care of mobs that would otherwise distract him.

Though, that inquisition of hers only increased when she came across one of the strangest people she met. While humanoid in shape, his body's skin was evenly split into two: black and white. Immediately, she was reminded of a character in Naruto with a similar coloration, though there was quite a difference.

For one, the black side of the man's body looked more akin to an Enderman's skin. The other half, possibly a Ghast? She wasn't too sure about the white side. Either way, she glanced at this person with interest.

"C-could you please stop staring?" The half-and-half man asked.

"Ah, sorry." Ina'nis looked away and blushed.

The variety of different types of people intrigued Ina'nis. Ghosts, demons, half-Endermen... She even had the pleasure of meeting with a humanoid fox in a dapper suit. Though, the company she works under had themselves quite a plethora of different walks of life, including her own close circle of friends, but to step into another world and see other people be just as different...

It caused her to be inspired.

She had learned through Tommy saying their names that the half-Enderman was named Ranboo and the foxkin was named Fundy. She also learned of a town known as L'Manberg. Presumably, Fundy lives in the town, as he talked about updates on the place, such as how its walls were slowly being torn down or that Dream, presumably the masked man from yesterday, was proud of its president, Tubbo.

Though, in the middle of them walking over to a large fortress, Fundy stopped and eyed the young girl.

"By the way, you never told us who she is." Ranboo said.

"Oh, right, well... Dream thought he had exiled me to the middle of nowhere, but it turned out these ladies, lovely ladies by the way, had settled down there." Tommy said.

"That's good. At least you have some company. It could get pretty lonely out in exile." Fundy said.

"Yeah... That's true... Hey, why don't you introduce yourself?" Tommy turned to Ina'nis, who simply nodded.

"Hello, my name is Ina'nis... Ina'nice to meet you!" The entire group fell silent before Tommy squeaked out a laugh.

"W-was that a pun?" Ranboo asked.

"Yeah, I just think they're pun." Another laugh from Tommy, though, this time, Fundy and Ranboo joined in, laughing alongside him.

Ina'nis spent most of her day exploring the Nether with Tommy and his friends, as he needed blaze powder for his Ender Chest. Thankfully, Fundy knew the location of a fortress where it had a spawner for Blazes. Like before, she stayed behind and watched Tommy kill the constantly generating Blazes, never once interfering with their entire trek...

At least until Tommy fell into lava. As Tommy let out a scream, a tentacle came out of Ina'nis' back and grabbed Tommy. Immediately, everyone let out a scream.

"AAAAAH!" Tommy screamed...

"WHAT THE HELL!?" Fundy screamed...

"Woah!" Though, Ranboo didn't. Ina'nis set Tommy down next to her as her tentacle retracted to her back.

"W-what the fook was that?!" Tommy glanced at Ina'nis.

"It's... quite a long story. But... to make it short, I can use tentacles." Ina'nis said.

"W-well... Thanks for saving my ass there. R-right. Shall we get back to my place?" Tommy asked the others.

"Yeah, yeah, let's go." Fundy said. As Tommy and Fundy left, Ina'nis noticed Ranboo had stayed behind.

"So... You're... not human?" Ranboo asked Ina'nis.

"Well, I am. Though..." Ina'nis took out an old tome that she had discovered long before she became a streamer. "After getting this, I... kinda became more than that."

"As in..." Ranboo looked away from her, but she knew his attention was on her.

"I guess you can say I partially have the power of some Ancient Ones." Ina'nis said.

"And you're... okay with that? Not being fully human, I mean." Ranboo asked.

"Yeah. It allowed me to meet some wonderful people." Ina'nis smiled.

"I see..." Ranboo kept his glance, but Ina'nis noticed his head turn just a slight bit towards her. Ina'nis respected him enough to look away as well.

"If... you're concerned about yourself... You don't have to be. We're all unique in a way. And... I think you have got yourself some wonderful people as well. Like Tommy... Hadn't seen someone who was as determined as him." Ina'nis said. Ranboo took a moment to consider what she said before he nodded.

"Thanks..." Ranboo looked ahead and spoke up. "We should go ahead."

"Sure..." Ina'nis said before she went off. That said, she eyed the several dozen small, purple particles, the kind she would normally see from an Enderman. The only difference was that these particles had tiny little eyes. Ina'nis decided not to ask about them.

In her curious eyes, they were another story for another time.
