I hugged my Aunt Mito and headed out the door. My commute to school was pretty long but I was fine with it because it was mostly outdoors! I started walking down the gravel path listening to the rocks crunch under my shoes. I had always been sad I couldn't wear my favorite green boots to school but I might've lost them if it did so I'm glad there's a dress code.

I came to the docks and sat on the bench waiting for the boat to arrive. Most people wouldn't even believe that I rode a boat to school, but I do! It takes me to the main land where my school is and to where most of the other students live.

I heard the familiar honk of the boat waiting to pick up its passengers; I step on and sit down against the wall. It's not a long ride but it's not exactly short either. This is when I eat my breakfast! It usually consists of: an apple, a piece of bread (with butter) and orange juice! It seems plain but it's all I really can have because my family doesn't have much money.
All the other students have fancy things like cinnamon rolls and pancakes at the school but I'm happy the way I am!

Usually as soon as I finish my food, the boat arrives at land.

I stepped off the boat and waved to the sails man, thanking him for the ride. Now I walk the rest of the way to school.

I face the entrance door now. This is the tricky part.. not getting bullied on my way to class, during class is a given. I open the door and keep my head down, trying not to make any extra beefs with the others standing in the halls.
As my steady footsteps echoed through the halls, I saw a few people I recognized but they weren't friends. Retz used to wait for me but now her teacher is really strict about being late so she doesn't have any extra time to waste.
I made it to my locker and turned the dial, swinging the door open and putting in my lunch and jacket. I took out my binder and closed it. I began to walk to first period. English..

"Alright class! Please sit down and get settled in. Today we're going to be starting our reading journals" Ms. Krueger was pretty strict but only when you disobey, Killua loves to disobey her..
i was seated, waiting for my next instructions. I sit in the back of the class so I have people beside me and behind me. To the left there's Sakura, she's the popular girl.. and always flirting with Killua.. she makes me jealous and I don't like that feeling. Though, Killua never flirts back. He even ignores her most of the time. She loves to wear really expensive dresses and full makeup and her hair is always perfect. To the right of me is Daren, he's Killua's best friend and the one who told the whole school my sexuality.. he loves to lean over and make fun of me whenever I do anything..
Behind me is Takai, he isn't mean to me at all. Honestly I don't even really know him But I do know that Killua sits directly behind him. It's hard to admire Killua when I can't see him.. but I have plenty other classes with him!
All of a sudden, Ms. Krueger's voice boomed from the front of the class

"Ah! Late again I see Killua. Do you at least have a late pass this time hmm?"
