Chapter 21

I apologies for taking so long to update. I don't have an excuse for why. Whoops

Spyro's pov

I turned in the direction of yelping. That has to be Neve. I spread my wings and fly across the ground, keeping an eye out for her. I couldn't see any sign of her as I circle around. Not until I saw something glint down near a rock. I dive down, landing on the ground. I approach the rock and look at what was there, picking one up. Red scales. They were Neve's.
"Neve" I don't get a response.
"Neve. Come out. I can help" I still don't get a response. I walk around the area. She had to be here. She just had to be. I look down at the ground to try and find anymore scales. Instead I found footprints. I examined them. They were too big to be Neve's. They stopped near the rock where her scales were and then turned back around. Someone had kidnapped Neve. I looked at the prints and began following them. They could lead me straight to the one who did this. I spread my wings once again, keeping low to the ground to follow the prints. I caught up with the culprit quickly, diving into a Bush to keep myself hidden. I looked out at the one I had been following, growling. Wolfgang. He reached a clearing and I ran up to the closest cover so I could listen. I looked around the bushes to see. He dropped something on the ground. My claws dug into the ground as I watched.
"I found this skylanders nearby. What do you think we should do with him" he asks. Golden Queen gets to her feet and approaches.
"Are you sure that's the dragon skylanders" she asks, looking down at Neve. She was unconcious and completly open. Chompie mage looks at her.
"This one's red. Not purple. They aren't the same dragon" he objects.
"Well. It's a very dark red so don't blame me for mistaking them" he objects.
"Well this dragon is utterly useless to us" Golden Queen reached out towards Neve. I snatched up a stick and jumped forward, shoving that into her hand. The stick turned to gold and I let go of it.
"That's the dragon skylanders" someone yelled.
"Get him" all of the doom raiders leapt for me. I jumped up, avoiding all of them. I shot a fireball, burning some of them. I ran towards Neve and took ahold of her shoulders.
"Neve? You need to wake up" I shook her shoulders but she didn't wake. I turned around when something bit my tail. A chompee. I shook my tail, trying to throw it off. More of them began to bite into my scales. I stumbled back, shaking the limb they were clasping on to. I tripped over the gold branch, falling onto the floor. Someone grabbed my tail and hoisted me up by it. I turned to look at them but was struck across the head. My vision grew dark until I lost all consciousness.
