Haikyuu!! Watches Their Anime (Up for Adoption)

Episode 3 Part 2

It's nighttime and a ball hits the ground right before Hinata slides on the grass to get it. He throws it back to Kageyama.

"One...one more time," Hinata says, a serious expression on his face.

Kageyama wipes the sweat off his forehead with his sleeve. "Here goes."

"Okay."

He sets it "Go! The back!"

"Got it!" 

But right before the volleyball reaches Hinata's hands, another hand shoots out above him, catching the ball.

"What the hell?" Yamamoto yells. Other people murmur their confusion. After all, a random hand did steal the ball. 

"Wow, you're really practicing outside." The screen shows a tall, blonde kid with glasses and headphones around his neck. "Are you the first-years that stirred up trouble on the first day?"

"Hey, hey, hey! It's Tsuki!" Bokuto yells. 

Kuroo shakes his head. "We've should've known that it was him."

"Stop calling me - you know what, I'm not going to pay attention to you," Tsukishima says, giving up. 

Meanwhile, Hinata is glaring at Tsukishima. How dare he steal the ball right when he was going to receive it! Not only that, but it's that time. The only reason he remembered that was because of Kageyama's strange reaction.

Kageyama also seems to know what's coming up, surprisingly, because he stiffens up just the slightest bit. 

Another person comes out behind him saying, "T-shirts? How lame."

"There's Yamaguchi too!" Nishinoya points. 

H-Huge... Hinata thinks as he stares at the two. "Give it back, give it back," Hinata says as he tries to knock the volleyball out of the blonde's hands.

"Jeez, why didn't you just jump and get it out of his hands?" Ginjima asks and Hinata shrugs. 

"Didn't feel like it," he answers.

"Plot convenience," Oikawa explains and Iwaizumi rolls his eyes. 

"Yeah, yeah, now shut up."

"Don't you think it's about time grade schoolers ran along home?"

"Excuse me??" several people say loudly, Nishinoya, Yaku, and Hoshiumi specifically. They were, after all, similar in height. Hoshiumi wasn't too upset, but that comment triggered him. A grade schooler? Not even someone in junior high??

A dark blue background appears behind Hinata, who is triggered by this comment.

"Who are you guys anyway?" Hinata asks.

"Are you the other first-years joining the team?" Kageyama asks behind Hinata.

"That's actually pretty smart of you, did you lose brain cells when you had to share with shortie?" Tsukishima asks, riling up the two again. 

"Stop fighting," Daichi says loudly, effectively shutting them up. After all, they had seen his face when he was upset.

"Hey," Hinata says.

He's got height... Kageyama thinks.

"Of course you think that first, Bakageyama," Hinata mumbles, getting a whack from the boy.

"Boke!"

"I was talking here!" Hinata says to Kageyama but gets ignored by.

"Alright, I'm beginning to believe that at the very beginning, shorty's either ignored or hit in the head," Tendou says, clapping his hands. "Anyone else think that?"
