I walked into the house, late again. I snuck up the stairs trying not to make a sound so I don't wake up my parents. I rushed into my room only to be greeted with two figures sat on the bed. Oops, I guess I didn't have to worry about waking them up then.
"Uhm, hi mum, dad"
Dad looked pretty serious. What have I done. They don't usually mind me being late.
"Sit down Nats" Mum said quietly.
I plopped onto the floor and stared up at them.
Mum nodded to dad and indicated to him to start speaking,
"Natasha, what religion are we?"
Oh, he said my full name this must be serious. Okay I gotta stop zoning out.
"Uhm, we are Muslim....Dad"
"Do you know the concepts of being a Muslim Natasha"
I nodded my head hesitantly, I think I know what this is about, I knew it would've happened sometime soon.
Dad sighed and shook his head.
"It doesn't seem like it Natasha, you're 17, nearly 18, you need to start acting like a Muslim girl"
With that he got up and left, mum trailing behind him...
Okay I guess I've disappointed him and being the daddy's girl I am I'm going to try my best to show him that I am the type of daughter he wants.
Looks like the hair covering is going to begin...
There are negatives though:
-Will my friends still like me for who I am?
-How will I cope with the change?
-Will this affect me as a person?
-Will I be isolated from everyone at school?Well there's only one way to find out. I'm going to live the hijabi life.

Salaam Everyone
As you may have noticed if you have read my old books, I have deleted them all.
There's a lot of reasons why I deleted them and I don't want to go into detail about that, if you really want to know just message me
So this is my new story, I feel more confident with this and I will try my best to update as quick as I can
The above picture is Natasha of course but anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter
