School had finally finished and I could never have been any happier. The amount of confrontations I had was unbelievable. Deciding we were going to take a trip to Nando's I quickly sent a message to my mum letting her know I will not be home until later.
We (Me, Leon and Talia) decided to make our own way there. As I was walking to my car, I was greeted by a group of girls in head scarves. Oh yeah, I forgot I was wearing one of these things.
I rolled my eyes indicating to them to start speaking.
"Uh-Uhm, Salaam Natasha..."
"Yeah, yeah what do you want."
She looked a little shaken up but hey, if you're scared then why confront me in the first place.
"We didn't know you were Muslim?"
"Yeah and so...?"
"Oh, I- I mean we, just wanted to let you know that if you need any advice we are here in the school..."
Haha as if I will need advice.
"Yeah okay whatever, you're just wasting your time, and with that I walked away from them.
"That was little too harsh don't you think."
I spun around in shock only to see him again. The big headed idiot. But his eyes are just too much. How can you have eyes that are so amazing. That should be genetically illegal.
"Uhm-Uh-I"
"Cat got your tongue?"
I shook my head. How can a guy have so much effect on how I speak?"
"Actually no, I just was not interested in what they were talking to me about."
There we go finally have the hang of speaking.
"So it's your first time wearing hijab."
"Yes it is."
And with that I got into my car. I shouldn't let such guy have an effect on me. If he is really interested then he should go to my parents. That's how it works right? In Islam. No boyfriends?
Well I guess that's fine with me anyways because I have never had a boyfriend anyways, I'm as innocent as a cloud. Amazing comparison, I know.
I parked my car next to Leon's and got out meeting the other two outside the restaurant.
"So Nats we have decided," My ears perked up to Leon's statement.
"Mhmm..."
"We will help you with the whole Muslim thing, I know we are not Muslims, but maybe the minor things like no parties and alcohol. We can do that."
I grinned at the pair.
"Thanks guys, that means a lot to me."
After pulling them into a hug we were given our table number and we made Leon pay for our orders.
Just then my phone rang. Mum.
Hello?
Nats where are you?
I'm out with Leon and Talia.
Leon. A boy?
Yes mum, best friend.
I want you home now.
But mum we just ordered.
Alright I want you home as soon as you finish eating.
