We were now walking to the sandlot . I was next to Benny and Kenny . Haha that rhymes i thought . Everyone was talking about why Benny brought Scotty to the sandlot but I was bored and just zoned out .
" Common Benny why did you bring him " Bertram said
" Because there was nine of us and now there's ten we can have an extra guy ." Benny said quite annoyed
" Yeah Yeah so would've my sister " Yeah Yeah said
" Come on guys stop being so mean about him " I said walking back to reach smalls
" Hey you alright " I asked
" Yeah i'm fine thanks oh i just forgot to introduce myself i'm Scotty Smalls "
" Okay your nickname is now smalls everyone will call you it here like my nickname Dolly " I said
" Dolly ?" Smalls asked
" Yep Dolly its a little inside joke give it a few weeks and we'll tell you i would tell you now but its our little group secret " I said in one very long breath
" Oh okay " Smalls said innocently
" Dolly come over here " Ham shouted from the center field
" Well that's my cue by Smalls come over when i give the thumbs up sorry you can't come now i think the boys well except Benny are a little weirded out that your here okay sorry for talking to much byeeeee " I ran off while saying that last word
" Benny why did you bring him " Squints said clearly grumpy
" Cause with him he makes an extra guy " Benny repeated from earlier
" No with Elswenger we had a good team a strong team to bad he moved to arizona But who knows what this guy is gonna bring to team we haven't even seen him throw or catch " I said clearly frustrated with the decision
" I know bu-"
" Benny i know what your going to say " I said interupting him " Yeah I know your going to say he might be good but I also agree with that he might have potential ."
" But anyways guys agreeing what Benny said it would be better If we did this I need the practice ."
" Common Y/n your the best on the team you don't need practice " Tommy said
" Yeah Yeah True " Yeah Yeah said
" Guys he has no friends and well he didn't catch the ball when y/n dodged it a few days ago " Benny said looking down
" Common Benny the kids a L-7 weenie " Squints said dramatically
" Yeah yeah, Oscar Mayer even , Foot long ,Dodger dog A weenie " Yeah yeah said making all the boys burst out laughing .
" What are you laughing at Yeah Yeah you run like a duck " Benny said while staring at me . Weird .
" Common Benny that wasn't kind but sorry yeah yeah but you do " Laughing as i said it i ran over to smalls and shouted to the rest of the boys to get into places .
" Y/n why you not in center " Benny said
" We are going to do it our 2nd way i'm not gonna play but Benny in center and smalls in left field instead of Benny . " I said
A few whispers went around before i started talking to smalls

" Normally I would be in center were Benny is but today i'm helping you in Left field were Benny used to be " Y/n said but i couldn't stop looking at what she had on it was awesome . She had a white under shirt with a jacket over that said new york yankees . Wow she even had a hat with the symbol on it .
