Our Little Secret

You read Tae's card over one more time before eyeing the white gift box that accompanied it.

Unable to wait any longer, you tear open the box and lift aside the gold tissue paper.

Y/n:-"It's beautiful"  Inside the box is a necklace hanging off a thin, gold chain is dewdrop pendent. The diamond catches the morning sunlight and sparkles around your bedroom. You quickly head downstairs wearing that beautiful pendent.

The dining room is packed: the cast and crew have taken up nearly every seat. You scan the room looking for a familiar face.

Ara:-"Good morning, Y/n."   Y/n:-"Ara! Enjoying your food?"  Ara:-"I have no complaints. I haven't heard any, either. Everything here is incredible."     Y/n:-"That's so nice of you to say. I owe it all to my staff. They're the best of the best."   Ara:-"Well, whatever it is that you're doing, it's working wonders."    Ara leaves. You spot Tae sitting alone at a table in the corner. When your eyes meet, he smiles. You make your way towards Tae.

Tae:-"Good morning, Y/n."   Y/n:-"Noticing anything different?"  Tae's eyes follows as you twirl around.

Tae:-"You got my necklace.Come here so I can take a closer look."   You slide into the spot next to Tae, careful to keep an appropriate amount of space between the two of you.  Tae reached towards your necklace, then seems to remember there are people around.

Tae:-"It's beautiful on you."   Y/n:-"I love it. Best gift I've ever gotten.I just wish I could thank you properly. But with all these people around.."    Tae:-"So cruel of you to tease me like that, Y/n."

Y/n:-"On a serious note, do you think us eating together is okay?"   Tae:-"Why wouldn't it be? We're only eating, Y/n. I'm not about to jump your bones in the dining room."

Y/n:-"So what's on the agenda for today? Filming any nude scenes I should know about?"

Tae:-"No, but for you, that can definitely be arranged. I'm thinking just the two of us?"  Y/n:-"Well, duh. You'd have to practice first."   Tae:-"I do have a full day of filming, though."    Y/n:-"Any noteworthy scenes I should pop in for?"   Tae:-"Nah. A lot of long conversations and backstory."  Tae stands, grabbing his plate and fork.   Tae:-"If I get a break, I'll come find you."   Y/n:-"You'd better."

As Tae walks away, your stomach grumbles. You make your way to the buffet and pile your plate high with eggs, bacon n baked sweets. You reach for the croissant but you're too late. A crew member you don't recognize, already shoved it into his mouth.  Shree walks up beside you, holding a plate with two croissants.

Shree:-"Saved you one."   Y/n:-"I love you."  You snatch the pastry off Shree's plate and follow her to an empty table.  Abigail, one of the kitchen's bakers, approaches your table holding a tray of steaming, hot croissants.

Abigail:-"Hi, Y/n. I happened to overhear the croissant crisis while I was baking a fresh batch. Would you like one?"   Y/n:-"That's so sweet of you!"   She places a croissant on both of your plates.   Abigail hovers, chewing on her bottom lip.   Y/n:-"Is there something else?"   Abigail:-"Uh, no. That's it."  She quickly walks away, disappearing behind the kitchen doors.

Shree:-"That was weird."   Before you can say anything, Sarah, one of your staff member, appears, interrupting you and Shree.

Sarah:-"Sorry to bother you during breakfast, Y/n. But there appears to have been an accident in one of the guestrooms.."    Y/n:-"I don't understand. What kind of accident?"  Sarah:-"It's best if you see for yourself."  Shree:-"Go. We'll talk later."

You run off in a hurry, following Sarah upstairs. Walking into the guestroom, you can't believe your eyes.    Y/n:-"What happened in here?!"  The bedroom is a complete mess. The pillows have been ripped open and feathers covers the floor. The bed sheets are crumpled up. The curtains hung askew , and an odd smell fills the air.

Y/n:-"Who did this!? The movie crew isn't allowed in these rooms."  Sarah:-"They must have used them anyway."  Sarah begins cleaning the room by stripping the sheets from the bed.

Y/n:-"Sarah, Shree should still be in the dining room. Can you ask her to help you?"   Sarah:-"Of course."

Sarah leaves to find Shree, and you head outside to find Ara. You get to set and spot Ara standing beneath an umbrella, talking on the phone. You wave at her and she smiles back, holding up a finger as if to say, "One minute." Ara hangs up the phone and heads your way.

Ara:-"Y/n! Everything okay?"  Y/n:-Something happened inside and I want to run it by you."

Ara:-"Oh no. What is it?"  Y/n:-"One of our guest rooms has been used. It was left a complete mess."   Ara:-"Oh no! I don't want to accuse any of my staff, but I can ask around and see if anyone knows anything?"   Y/n:-"That would be great, thank you. And if you could also reiterate that bedrooms are off bounds..?   Ara:-"Gotcha, Y/n. Will do."   

Y/n:-"When are you guys going to be begin filming?"  Ara lets out a long,annoyed breath.

Ara:-"We are waiting on Tae. I have no idea what he was up to last night, but he still hasn't memorized his lines."  Y/n:-"Oh no...That's weird."   Ara:-"Yeah. I should get going."  As Ara walks away, an idea pops into your head.

At Tae's trailer, you knock twice on the door. The door swings up and Tae stands before you, holding a thick bundle of papers.   

Tae:-"Y/n, what's going on? WAIT- You should probably come in before someone sees you.  Tae grabs your hand and pulls you inside.

Tae:-"What can I do for you?"   Y/n:-"Ara mentioned you need help memorizing your lines."  Tae:-"And you've come to offer your services?"   Y/n:-"I have."   Tae:-"Hate to break it to you, Y/n but I don't think I can focus on memorizing lines when you're around."   Y/n:-"You're probably right."

A knock on the door startles the both of you. "Tae we need you on set!" a voice says from outside. Tae groans, looking anything but happy to end your time together.  Tae:-"Duty calls."

As you exit Tae's trailer, you notice a man in a suit standing there, watching you. You've seen him hanging around set, but never spoken to him before.  

Peter:-"I wasn't aware Tae had company."   Y/n:-"He doesn't! I was just dropping off his lunch."

Peter:-"Huh. Tae does enjoy having food delivered."   Y/n:-"Well, now that we've agreed that's definitely what I was doing here.."   In a haste, you start to walk away, but he calls your name.  Peter:-"Y/n, would you call yourself a southern girl?"   Y/n:-"Excuse me?"  Peter:-"You enjoy a simple, slow-paced lifestyle. Don't you?"   Y/n:-"Sure..why?"   Peter:-"I bet you haven't been involved in any publicized scandals. Cheating Affairs?"    Y/n:-"Of course not.I'm not a celebrity."   Peter:-"Exactly. You're not."

The door to the trailer opens and Tae steps outside. He looks between you and his agent.  Peter:-"Great timing, Tae. We need to go."  Tae:-"Then let's get going."  Tae shoots you a confused look before following his agent to set.

As you're heading to your office, you spot Shree sitting on the back porch. To your complete surprise, Abigail, the baker from this morning, sits beside her. Shree sees you and rushes over.

Shree:-"Y/n, we need to talk."  Y/n:-"What happened?"  Shree:-"After you left the kitchen, Abigail pulled me aside. She said she had something to confess."  Shree gestures to Abigail ,who walks over and joins the two of you.

Abigail:-"The person that used the guest room was me and my boyfriend.I'm so sorry, Y/n. It's just happened! And I had to work early this morning and didn't have time to clean up.."

Y/n:-"You messed up once, Abigail. I'll let it slide this time, but don't let it happen again.Now get back to work, please."  Abigail heads inside, seeming relieved.

Shree:-"Talk about a plot twist."   Then realization hits you.    Y/n:-"Oh, shit! I totally blamed one of Ara's crew members for this when it was my staff member the whole time!"
