Aaliyah couldn’t believe the movie they decided to see…was 50 Shades of Grey. Miranda was a mastermind; she was able to get Aaliyah through without the guards questioning, how though? Aaliyah didn’t ask no questions.

Aaliyah wanted to see this movie, in fact her and the girls planned on going sometime that following week to go and see it. But she never imagined seeing it with Larry! This was something she would have to really toughen this out but the anxiety on her face was very noticeable.

Larry looked down at her and noticed her face had uncomfortable written all over it. A thought came to his head and he decided to get her out of here. He knew the kind of girl Liyah was wouldn’t speak her mind and admit she wasn’t comfortable seeing this movie with him…yet that is.

But he could read her like a book; he grabbed her by the hand making her stop walking with him. “Hey guys y’all go ahead we’re gonna go walk the strip or something”

It took Aaliyah a minute before she realized what he was doing. Larry squeezed her hand confirming that he got her back and not to ask questions. Besides, he didn’t want to poison her head with Lau and Miranda’s public display of affection.

Both Lau and Miranda looked at each other than back at Larry, “are you sure? The movie is 2 hours…” Miranda told him.

Larry nodded, “take your time. We go and find something else to do”, he looked down at Liyah, “C’mon Liyah”

“OK”

Aaliyah didn’t object quickly waving goodbye to Lau and Miranda as she got dragged away by Larry. She did good keeping up with his giant footsteps in her yellow heels. Aaliyah looked up at him, “you know I wanted to see that movie right?”

Larry smiled charmingly, “yes and you will see it…when you ready call me”. He looked down at her and winked; Aaliyah just blushed and shook her head.

Larry drove them down to the strip like he said but Aaliyah had a better idea. The spring dance was right around the corner and Aaliyah admitted to having a few boys asking her, Larry frowned his face up and she giggled at his reaction.

Larry agreed he’d take her shopping but only one store will do; he didn’t want to be stuck shopping all day. Aaliyah sucked her teeth, “this is what you’re going to have to do with your daughter so you better get used to this” she teased.

Larry looked at her and smirked, “Why would I do that when I can just have you go with her?”

Aaliyah looked back at him, “you’d trust me with your daughter?”

They came to a red light and Larry looked completely at her seriously, “why wouldn’t I?”

Aaliyah turned her head looking down, shrugging her shoulders. Larry furrowed his brows together in confusion wondering why she’d say something like that. Green light came before he could go any further into it; her silence told him to drop it…for now that is.

They arrived at a dress store not too far from the strip but pretty far away from the movie theatre. Aaliyah perked up as she watched Larry’s face go into horror. He felt like he was walking into a scary movie.

Aaliyah laughed grabbing onto his hand, “Oh c’mon you big baby!”

Larry sat there holding 9 dresses; Aaliyah had promised she’d make this quick and Larry had to give it to her, she kept her word. Already 8 dresses down and she was trying on the last one for the day. It was already 8:00 and getting pretty dark outside. Larry didn’t want Monica to kill him so he had to have Aaliyah back before 11 or that’s his ass.
