Me and John sat and talked for awhile and then Tommy finally came home."I'll try persuade him to let me go and if it doesn't work then I'll pinch ur elbow and you help"I whispered to John before Tommy walked into the kitchen."Hi Tom"I said sweetly "What have you done know"He sighed "I've done nothing.why would you think I've done something ?"I asked "Your just being to nice and happy "He replied.I decide I would ask him about his day first instead of jumping straight to the point.

After a few minutes of silence at the kitchen table I finally built up the courage to ask."Tommy can I come to the garrison later ?"I said,playing with my hair."Ahhh,I knew there was something"He laughed."Pleaseee I promise Tom I won't do anything"I begged"You said that last time and you had to be carried home cos you were so drunk"He said "why do you even want to go.who's gonna be there?"He asked."I just wanna spend time with my family"I replied."Fine but no drinking Charlie I mean it"He said with a smile on his face "yes I pinky promise I won't"I said holding out my pinky finger.

I ran upstairs to get changed out of my wet clothes and try and fix my damp,messy hair.

It was 8 o clock so I left for the garrison with Arthur and John.I opened the door to the pub and looked around the room for Isaiah.I spotted him instantly and he smiled at me"I'm gonna stay out here and talk to some friends for awhile"I said to Arthur and John as they walked into the back room.

I walked over to the table Isaiah was sitting at and sat across from him "So you made it"Isaiah said happily "Yap and I also brought your jacket"I said,handing him his jacket."I was looking for that
,I forgot I gave it to you "He laughed."Anyways,what drink do you want"He asked "I cant have anything,I promised Tom"I replied "Since when does Charlotte Shelby listen to get brothers "Isaiah laughed "Charlotte Shelby doesn't break promises"I chuckled."Fair enough"Isaiah replied.

It was 10 o clock now and Me and Isaiah were sitting in a booth together.He was drinking whiskey and I just had water."Remember the ti-"Isaiah started his sentence "I swear to god if this is embarrassing I will hurt you Isaiah"I stopped him "It's not"He said holding his hands up in defence."Ok continue"I smiled "Remember the first day we met"Isaiah laughed."You were such a little prick"I sighed."I didn't do anything"he said defensively."You told me that I should go back to the kitchen and act like a real woman because I wouldn't make you tea"I said "Well you didn't have to try stab me the next day"Isaiah chuckled."Your lucky I love Finn because you would not be here right now if I didn't"I laughed."Why did you stop hating me ?"Isaiah asked "When the boys left for war I just kind of realised that you can't hold grudges against people because you don't know how much time they have left"I replied

"That's the real reason ?"Isaiah asked surprised.               "Well one time I tried to poison your tea and Polly caught me and she said she'd throw me in the cut if I didn't try get along with you"I said letting out a laugh."Jesus your a fucking psychopath"Isaiah said laughing as well."Let's go into Arthur and John for a while "I suggested "Okay"Isaiah said getting up and holding his hand out for me to grab.I took his hand and he pulled me up.

I walked into the back where Arthur and John were and to my surprise Tommy was there as well."Hello brothers"I shouted,swinging my hand around Tommy and John while sitting in between them.
"Why's he here"John asked,sounding offended."He's my friend"I smiled "You don't have friends,you don't like people"Arthur joined in on the conversation
"Well me and Isaiah are friends now"I said."I hope your not fucking our sister Jesus"John said pointing at Isaiah"We're not fucking John"I sighed."I'm not fucking your sister,I swear"Isaiah said holding his hands up in defence."Good,now we're going outside for a few minutes"John said getting up,along with Tommy and Arthur and leaving the room.

The second I knew they had left the room I wiped the smile of my face and let out a sigh."What's wrong?"Isaiah asked,sitting up from his chair."Oh it's nothing,I'll probably just go home now"I said quickly grabbing my bag and getting up."No sit back down,You can talk to me Charlotte"Isaiah said gently grabbing my arm.I slowly put my bag back down and leant back into my chair"It's just Tom.I don't know what's wrong with him anymore.We used to be so close and now,well now he barely talks to me.He walks into a room and sees me and the first thing he does is just tell me off for something stupid or ask me what I've done now.I just wish things were how they used to be"I said,with a few tears falling from my eyes.Isaiah moved closer to me.He wiped the tears from my eyes with his thumb,he tucked my hair behind my ears.Isaiah opened his mouth to speak but I heard the door open.We looked up and it was Finn.He had a shocked look on his face"Were you two just about to kiss"Finn asked,annoyed.
"Obviously not "I laughed,standing up."What the fuck Charlotte.He's my fucking best friend"Finn shouted "Finn are you having fucking laugh"I shouted back"Your fucking my best friend Charlotte you didn't think I was going to be calm about it did you"He said slamming his glass down on the table "Finn we weren't doing anything.I was talking to Isaiah about me and Tom and he was just comforting me that's all"I said,wiping the tears that were coming from my eyes."That's fucking bull shit"Finn said walking towards me."Oh my fucking god!He tucked my hair behind my bloody ear he didn't have his dick in me"I exclaimed "You two were about to kiss"He shouted.
"Just fuck off Finn"I said shoving him out of my way and running out of he pub.

I slowed down and started walking once I knew I was far away from the pub."First the stuff with Tom and know stuff with Finn,great.Maybe I was just being dramatic about this whole Finn thing but it just pisses me off that he assumed we were fucking.I like Isaiah but it's just a little crush and we're friends now.If this is what he thinks when me and a boy our friends,how is he gonna act when I get married."I thought to myself as I walked through the dark streets.My thoughts were soon interrupted when me and someone else collided and I landed on the floor.
