Potato Patato

Two years in wolf years passed. Through the two years, the pack got close. William mainly taught Sky how to steal well. Astro and Sky became close like siblings as William and Cora would fight even over the smallest things. Right now William and Cora were fighting.

" It's potato, not patato," Cora miffed standing up.

" Yeah that's what I said patato," William replied as he stood up.

" No it's potato," Cora miffed as Cora and William stomped toward each other, right in front of Sky.

" Yeah as I said. P.A.T.A.T.O. My kind is far superior" William miffed Sky began to get really annoyed by the two fighting.

" Oh, you want to find out right now," Cora miffed cracking her knuckles.

" Come at me,"  William miffed.

" Your asking..." Cora tried to say but was cut off by Sky standing up pushing the two apart.

" STOP IT, all you two ever do is fight. You say you want to be a pack, then stop fighting it will never accomplish anything," Sky miffed with a booming voice as William and Cora sat back down shamefully. It stayed quiet for a while till Lupid spoke up.

" I guess we figured out how should become our leader," Lupid smiled trying to break the awkward silence.

" No," Sky said flatly.

" Why not. You definitely fit that spot. You very leader-like," Lupid questioned.

" No not me, no way. I can't. I'm not leader-like. I can't be. I can't be someone all of you rely on or come to for answers. Leaders suppose to keep their pack safe and I can't," Sky rambled as Lupid stood up.

" Sky calm down you don't have to be the leader. It was just an idea. We can still make decisions together and protect each other like a team," Lupid explained trying to calm SKy down by patting her on the back.

" No, I want to protect you all, but never wanted you to join my fight. In the beginning, I should have just gone and killed the pixies by myself. My vengeance would die or I would. I can't do this anymore," Sky huffed. then she ran out of the fort.

" So is anyone going after her," Cora asked.

" I'll go," William replies standing up.

" How would you help," Cora questioned standing up as well.

" Please just trust me," William pleaded.

" Fine," Cora said crossing her arms as William went out of the fort.

" Now where would I be if I was trying to hide away," William wonder looking around as he walked through the forest. William walked for a good half hour till he came to a cave with a crystal clear pond in it. Sky was there sitting on a rock looking into the blue water.

" You okay?" William questioned walking over to Sky.

" Nope not really," Sky replied still looking into the water.

" You want to talk about it?" William questioned sitting beside Sky. It stayed quiet for a bit all you could hear was the sound of water trickling down the walls of the cave.

" When I was younger no one depended on me. I was carefree. I saw the world as this cool, mystic, and wonderful place, but I was a fool to think that," Sky said resting her chin on her knees.

" Sky I know how you want to keep everyone out of harm's way, but you can't. Everyone wants a chill peaceful life, but it's not like that. It's like wood, rough and just a block of wood at first but you have to smooth it out and create something with it through tough times," William told Sky.

" But William some break and I guess that me," Sky said as she looked at William with sad eyes.

" That's not true. once you've broken you just have to find a new way or a new creation that would be better for you to find the true beauty," William told sky.

" Yeah, but what if you can't," Sky questioned.

"  You always can whether you chose to see that or not," William smiled. 

" For a guy only ever think about girls, alcohol, and stealing. You have wise words. Now let's head back," Sky said getting up from the rock. They went back to the fort. Lupid and Astro were sitting by the fire as Cora paced back and forth expecting William to make Sky feel worse.

" Ha, I told you," Lupid shouted.

" Shut it," Cora miffed making Lupid on the back of the head. Lupid winced in pain as she rubbed the bruise that was now forming on her head

" So are okay now," Astro asked concerned as Sky sat beside him.

" Yeah," Sky smiled.

" Wait guys does someone have a camera," William shouted.

" Stop it or I won't smile again," Sky huffed in a playful way as she crossed her arm and looked away. They all laughed at this for a while.

" So where are we going today," Lupid asked to try to catch her breath from laughing so much earlier.

" I thought we could go to the huge market about three towns away," Sky suggested. Everyone agreed with this idea. So they packed their bags and went out to the town a far away. The market was beautiful with all sorts of things to buy or steal in the pack's case. They were definitely going to get some cool things here. " Everyone be careful and don't get caught," Sky said before everyone went their separate ways to 'buy' things. After a good day of 'buying' things.

"Let's go eat before we go home," Lupid said as everyone agreed. Since they were thefts they went to a restraint tucked away from the main market which its exit and entrance went off into the back alley. The food there was pretty good not five stars good but good. After they paid they all went out the front door. 'BANG' the pack was all smacked in the back of the head knocking them out and collapsing n the floor. As Sky started to blackout she saw a figure of a man with beautiful orange eyes. Then it all went black for them.
