Breath of the Beginning

Once upon a time, a girl was born in a land far different from our world. This child was the only one her parents had. one day when the child was only a one year old her parents had to leave alongside another family. So the parents gave their green-eyed baby to a family friend as well as the other family's little girl. The two families planned to come back in two year's time, but they never came back.

It has been 6 years since that day. " uncle Jasper why can't Cora and I go to school with the other kid," the little girl with green eyes asked sitting at the dining room table next to Cora. 

"Well for starters the two of aren't like the other boys and girls, Sky," uncle Jasper replied. 

" Then what are we?" Sky asked a little considered. 

" For starters, you guys aren't really human," uncle Jasper replied as the girls became scared. " Wait, then what are we," Cora asked shocked. 

"Calm down, you guys are human-wolves, along with me," he replied in a sweet tone. 

" So like evil ware-wolfs, who turn into wolves at a full moon and hurt people," Sky said. 

"No no, not really the same. Ware-wolves only get their abilities from the moon and other sources like that and they normally can't control their wolf side, but as for our type we can control the wolf part and we as well have special powers," He said grading the food from the oven and setting it on a hot mat on the dining room table. 

" Wow, that's really cool," Sky and Cora said as uncle Jasper sat down at the table.

 " So what are your powers?" Sky asked. 

" My power is rock/stone," Uncle Jasper replied as the girls got amazed for all that they had learned that day. " Now let's eat," He said and then they began eating supper.
