Power shine through

 " Wow, see all that training did pay off," David said as both of them came out of the water. 

" hahaha, I got the fish first though," Sky said swing the fish back and forth in front of David's face. Then David lunged at Sky. She fell back almost hitting her head on a tree stump but she felt the wind catch her and hold her above the surface of the ground. and a tingle of electricity going through her fingertips and into the fish dropping it. 

"Sky are you okay," David frantically said thinking Sky had hit her head and knelt down beside her expecting to feel her side but just felt a gust of air. 

" I'm fine I think, but I can't feel the ground," Sky said. 

" Wait Sky, Imagine getting high like a hot air billion and then imagine your self standing up straight," David said standing up and backing up.  

" Okay, but why," Sky said closing her eyes and imagining what David told her to. She began to lift up and slowly go into a standing up position. " Is it just me or is it really windy," Sky said getting lifted higher and higher, till she was above the trees and she opened up her eyes. Then she began to fall and her feet swiftly hit the ground. "Wait what just happened?" Sky asked as David walked over to her. 

" I think that was your power," David said as Sky picked up the fish seeing that it was already cooked. 

" So flight is my power. Wait why is the already cooked?" Sky said looking weirdly at the fish. 

"Wait what," David said grading the fish and being blasted into a tree. 

" Are you okay, " Sky asked dropping the fish and running over to David. 

" Yep, och, maybe not," David said trying to get up 

" I'll help you up," Sky said reaching out her hand, right then David saw that there was electricity pulsing through her fingertips. 

" Sky look at your fingers there's electricity pulsing through them," David said then getting up as Sky looked at her fingers. 

" How do I stop it?" Sky said scaredly as clouds began to get dark and started to swirl like a tornado. 

" Okay Sky, I need you to calm down, just take a breather, it's all okay," David said as Sky started to breathe slowly calming herself down. 

" Okay okay," Sky said as the clouds dissipated. " I'm so sorry, just stay back. I don't want to hurt you," Sky said frightened of herself backing away from David. 

" Sky you won't hurt me. I'm okay," David said stepping closer to Sky. 

"You don't know that," Sky said backing away again. 

" Sky remember the story I told you how I found my power," David said as the storm picked back up again. 

" Yeah, but why?" Sky yelled. 

" Because I haven't told you the full story, what really happened was I froze my father's arm along with the crane. I froze his arm so bad they had to cut his arm off. So I ran away, but when my sister caught me she didn't tell me she joined me. Three days later we got captured and turned into slaves. So I ran from it and it got worse because I ran. You have the chance not to run from it so please stay," David said almost in tears and grabbed Sky's hand as the storm stopped. David and Sky faced each other. 

" Okay, I'll stay if you promise to practice your powers to," Sky said as they came close to kiss 'Bang' went a bullet into David's backside and he collapsed. 

" Sky run, go," David yelled sitting up against a tree covering the wound. Then Sky had a flashback to when she and Cora had run from the slave traders. 

" No, I'm not leaving you," Sky said helping David up and having him support on her so they could run. Then they began to run as fast as they could and accidentally fell in a hole. They were stuck about twelve feet underground. David fainted from all the pain. So Sky dragged David to a side of a hole where at the top no one could see them from the top of the hole.

" I think he fell down here," a man with a scary deep voice said from the top of the hole. Skys heart began to beat ten times faster. 

" He got away again," another man said with an, even more, a scarier voice said. Then the men left from the top of the hole. An hour past till Sky even thought of moving. Now that it was safe she had to deal with David. Sky again appeared her dagger just thinner this time. Sky flipped David over on to his stomach to get the bullet out. She very carefully put her knife into the wound and deep enough into the bullet so she could pull it out.  Once the bullet was pulled out, blood started to come out. So Sky ripped off a strip of fabric from the bottom of her T-shirt and then put it on top of the wound. Then she ripped off the bottom part of her pants and used it to rap Davids's wound. Then she flipped him back over onto his back. For the next couple of hours, Sky practice her powers as David remained passed out. Sky was finally able to form a little cloud. A little later David woke up. 

"och," David said looking down at his wound feeling it puls with pain every time breathed. 

"Your awake," Sky said disappeared the cloud and going to sit by David. 

" Why are you here? why didn't you leave like I told you to?" David asked seeming a bit angry. 

" Why did I have to leave you," Sky asked angrily too. 

" You could have gotten away and you would be stuck here. We shouldn't be in this hole," David replied. 

" I couldn't leave you," Sky said sadly. 

" Why couldn't leave me we barely know each other. I don't think you should have saved me you could have been free," David frustratingly angry said.  

" So I should have left you to die, and what is so bad with wanting to save someone. Even if I only have known you for a couple of times, I-i love you," Sky said crying. 

" I'm sorry Sky, it's just that you mean so much to me I didn't want me to hold you back. Thank you for wanting to help people," David said scooting over to Sky and holding her in his arms as she cried into his shoulder. After a bit, Sky fell asleep on David and later he fell asleep to.
