AURORA VELAZQUEZ. IF YOU WERE TO ASK HENRY HART about her, he would simply not keep his mouth shut about the girl. he could literally tell you everything about her—even something as little as how she likes her coffee. it comes as a shock to people when they find out he's not in a relationship with her. one would assume that he's dating the girl by the way he talks about her. to some, aurora velazquez is just a name. but to henry, aurora velazquez is everything.
he thought his feelings for her were strictly platonic.
until one day it wasn't.
he, jasper, and charlotte were over at aurora's house on a particularly cloudy day. they weren't doing anything special. they just sat in her room and talked.
henry had said something funny which made aurora laugh. he smiled as he watched her throw her head back. he felt proud making her laugh and all he could think about was how he could possibly make her laugh like that even more.
he wants to be the only one to make her laugh like that.
then it hit him. his smile faded, and he began to panic on the inside. after realizing it, he made up some ridiculous excused just so he can leave and dragged jasper out with him, leaving aurora and charlotte confused.
"henry, what's going on? why'd you made us leave aurora's house? and why does it feel like you're freaking out about something?" jasper asked as he tried keeping up with henry's fast walking.
henry stopped in his tracks and faced him with the most serious face jasper has ever seen, "i think i like aurora."
"well duh."
henry had expected a more shocked reaction from jasper but jasper's response caught him off guard.
"wait what—"
"hen, c'mon, you're like the last person to know."
"huh?"
"you should see the way you look at her cause the way you do—obvious," jasper stated.
"look, you have to promise me you won't tell anybody."
