"FINISH HER!!!" JASPER SHOUTED AT HENRY. THE SQUAD WAS in the man cave playing a fighting video game using motion capture suits. jasper, ray and charlotte watched in the sidelines as aurora was up against henry. they've been playing the game for a while and aurora had managed to win every round thus far. aurora thought she'd let henry think he's winning before doing a complete one-eighty and beat his character to a pulp. "i'm gonna do it! i'm finally gonna— wait what's happening?" henry panicked when he saw his health bar decreasing by the second. "yo, i'm losing health!"
"run, henry!" ray advised.
"i'm running... i'm running!" henry ran away from aurora's character.
"finish him, rory!" charlotte encouraged.
aurora followed towards henry's character. eventually, his avatar hit an invisible wall that prevented him from moving away further and aurora finished off the round with one last kick to henry's character, the words knock out displaying on the screen.
"yes!" charlotte cheered as the boys hung their heads low in defeat.
aurora smirked as she pressed quit on the round.
"i was just about to beat you," henry claimed.
"mmh yeah well, sometimes the cat likes to play with the mouse before she kills it," aurora smiled.
"yeah, well, sometimes the cat hurts the mouse's feelings," henry frowned.
"alright rory," ray walked up to her. "you've proven you can defeat boy hair. let's see how you do against fully grown man hair. bye-bye," ray shooed henry away.
"hey, has anyone seen the big toenail clippers?" schwoz walked into the room, soaked and using a rabbit as a towel. "what?" he had asked when he saw all the looks they gave him.
"are you drying yourself with a rabbit?" henry asked.
"yes."
"okay."
"i'll just ask the obvious question here... why?" charlotte said.
