Nicole was at the airport, waiting to board her flight. Bella and Phil were there with her. She had asked Phil to drive her to the airport, as she refused to see or speak to her mother.

"Are you going to be ok here without me?" Nicole asked her younger sister.

"I'll be fine." Bella assured her. "We've been taking care of ourselves since we were little." The intercom called for Nicole's flight to board.

"Bye Bells." Nicole said, tightly hugging her.

"I wish you would stay." Bella said as she hugged her sister back.

"You know I can't." Nicole said. "I don't have anywhere else to go, except with Dad."

"I know." Bella said. "But, I still wish you didn't have to go."

"I love you." Nicole said.

"I love you too, Nic." Bella said. "Call me when you get there. And tell Dad I said hi."

"I will." Nicole said. "I have to go." She said goodbye to Phil and then boarded the plane.

During the flight, Nicole thought about her father. She had always been a daddy's girl growing up and still is. She's not going to say that she doesn't love her mother, she does, but there are things that Nicole hated about her mother. She hated that her mother left her father, all because she didn't like the small town of Forks, and that she took Nicole and Bella with her. And that they only spent two weeks in the entire year, during the summer, with their father. And she didn't like that her mother never really took great care of Bella and Nicole and in fact, they started taking of her and things for the house, at a young age. Nicole knew that Forks was on the other end of the country to Arizona and the climate was very different in comparison. It wouldn't be her first choice, as she enjoyed the warm and sunny weather, but she didn't have any other choice. And she was excited to see her father, none the less.

The plane landed and Nicole got off the plane. Once she grabbed her luggage, she searched around for her father.

"Nicole!" Someone called.

Turning in the direction the voice came from, Nicole saw her father waving at her. She made her way over to him.

"Dad!" Nicole said as she hugged him. She noticed that it took him a moment to hug her back, but she knew that was because he wasn't used to having her or Bella around where he needed to give affection. Although, she also knew that he wasn't one for giving a lot of affection, but he hugged her back anyway.

"Hi Nicole." Charlie greeted. They were both quiet for a moment, neither of them knowing what to say.

"I don't mean to rush." Nicole spoke up. "But, could we head to the house now, please?"

"Oh yeah." Charlie said. "Here. I'll get your luggage."

"Thank you." Nicole said.

Charlie grabbed Nicole's luggage and the two headed to the police cruiser. Charlie put Nicole's luggage in the trunk and got in the car, along with Nicole. He started the car and drove off. The car ride was quiet at first, until Charlie spoke up.

"So, how are you?" He asked. Nicole just gave him a look. "Right. Sorry." Charlie said. "How have you been feeling?"

"Aside from the morning sickness, I'm alright." Nicole replied. "I've really missed you, Dad."

"Me too, sweetheart." Charlie said. "I'm sure we can find you a good doctor for you to see. The hospital just hired someone that just recently moved to town. I hear he's a great doctor."

"Along with that, there's so much other stuff to do." Nicole said. "I have to buy everything I need for after the baby is born. I need to find a job. I have school to worry about, as well."

"We have time." Charlie said.

"But, it's going to go by too quickly." Nicole said.

"Nicole, take a breath and calm down." Charlie said, soothingly. "Everything will be ok. I'll help you through this."

"You're right." Nicole said, calming down. "I'm sorry, Dad. I just haven't had a lot of support with this."

"I'm sorry about your mother. That wasn't right of her to do that." Charlie said. Nicole nodded. "And if I ever see that dead beat boyfriend of your, I'll kill him and make it look like an accident."

Nicole chuckled. "You mean ex boyfriend." She said.

"Right." Charlie said. "How about we have dinner at the diner?"

"Could we just pick something up and bring it back to the house?" Nicole asked. "It's been a long day and I'm exhausted."

"That's fine." Charlie said. "How does pizza sound?"

"Sounds good to me." Nicole said.

A little bit later, they pulled up to Charlie's house. They got out of the cruiser and Nicole got her luggage out of the trunk.

"Let me get that." Charlie said.

"Dad, I'm not helpless." Nicole said.

"But, I'm sure it's heavy." Charlie said. "Why don't you take the pizza."

Nicole sighed and grabbed the pizza box. When she walked into the house, she saw that nothing about it had changed. It was exactly the same as she remembered it. Charlie brought her luggage upstairs and they sat down to eat. It was quiet while they ate.

Nicole started thinking about everything that happened and a few tears ran down her face.

Charlie noticed. "What's wrong?" He asked.

Nicole suffered from anxiety and took medication for it. Although, she had stopped taking it when she found out she was pregnant because she didn't know if it was safe. Because of this, her anxiety had been really bad lately. She was now in full on panic mode.

"How am I going to do this? I don't really have anyone to help me." Nicole said, crying and breathing heavily. "I didn't want this to happen. I didn't mean for this to happen."

"Nicole, please calm down." Charlie said, attempting to calm her down. He was never good in these situations. Especially since he hadn't really had to take care of his daughters before now. "I'm not angry or upset with you because of this. This isn't your fault."Charlie continued, trying to comfort her. "I'm going to help you."

"But, I shouldn't have to rely on you." Nicole said. "I'm so sorry, Dad. I didn't mean for this to happen."  "Shh. It's ok, sweetheart." Charlie said.

"I'm really scared, Dad." Nicole said. "I don't know what to do."

"It'll be alright, Nicole." Charlie assured her. "You're going to get through this." Nicole nodded. "Have you taken your anxiety medication?" Charlie asked.

Nicole shook her head. "I stopped taking it when I found out I was pregnant because I didn't know if it was safe for me to take it while I pregnant.

"Maybe once we get you a doctor, they'll be able to tell you if you can still take it." Nicole nodded, again.

"Do you mind if I just head up to bed?" Nicole asked her father, once they finished eating.

"Not at all." Charlie said. "Your room is the first one on the left."

"Alright." Nicole said.

"Good night, pumpkin." Charlie said.

"Night Dad." Nicole said before heading upstairs. She saw that her father had gotten new furniture in the room, with a new bed and a desk. Nicole changed into sleepwear and climbed into the bed. It didn't take her long to fall asleep.

AN: What do you guys think so far? I wanted to get your guys opinions. Do you want to see some chapters with Nicole being pregnant or should I just skip to the beginning of Twilight, which takes place three years after this chapter? And should Nicole meet the Cullens and have Carlisle be her doctor. Or should she meet them when Bella comes to Forks. Let me know what you guys think?
