Synopsis:

After the #JunZhe reunion on Zhang Zhehan's birthday concert, things have started to become more complicated and liberating at the same time.

As the two stars, make a decision that would change not only their entire careers, but their whole world too.

(Or alternatively, the fic wherein Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan chose to flee the entertainment industry, get married, get wasted, make love, roam around the world, and gain their freedom)

Quite a long chapter.

3rd Person's POV:

As they left the stadium hand in hand, both Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan felt somehow complete and relieved with the whole aftermath of being able to be in each other's arms once again and publicly expressing their love for one another, it was understandable.

They got into Zhehan's car and sat there the entire ride in comfort silence, with Zhehan's head on his lover's shoulder, moments later he began to snore and that was when Gong Jun decided to move his head gently off his shoulder to his lap as he gently pats his head in a loving manner.

"Wake up love we're home.", Gong Jun stated ever so gently as he tried to wake Zhehan up.

"Love", he tried again, this time his Hanhan woke up.

"Where are we?", he asked

"At our apartment, I decided it's best for us to stay here for a while.", Jun Jun replied.

"Oh okay, I suppose so."

And with that, Gong Jun opened the door to the inside of their apartment and they both felt the nostalgia.

"It's been long, and it seems like there's work to do.", Zhehan said as he began to check the place, and surprisingly all the things that were left there, were still in place, including their pictures, their memories, and everything in between.

"I have something for you, just wait here.", Gong stated as he went into their room and opened a drawer to get a box.

"Here, I'm not sure if you still remember this, but I found it placed on the envelope of the letter you gave me.", he said as he handed over the box to his partner.

"Oh, you kept this?, well this was supposed to be something that I was gonna give you, but you were quite sound asleep before I left and I didn't wanna wake you up, so I guess that I'll just give it to you now, so give me your hand please?", he states and Gong Jun obliged.

He opened the box and got the shiny white ring engraved with the "Ai Ni", and took one of Gong Jun's hands, kissed it and began stating "This is my promise ring to you my love, allow me to give it to you right now as a symbol of my word to never ever leave you again, I love you and I always will.", and placed it on his lover's ring finger.

Gong Jun was left utterly speechless as he felt more tears coming out of his eyes, and kissed Zhehan as a response and hugged him as tight as he possibly could.

"I'm tired, let's go to bed.", Zhehan said as he dragged his lover towards their bedroom.

"Sure, sure, let's go wifey.", Gong replied.

- - The Next Morning - -

Gong Jun didn't ever really consider himself as a good cook. Never. Although he did cook once in a while, he remembered almost burning up the kitchen for having placed the stove on high which resulted to a very burned chicken (which resulted in Zhehan having to scold him for being so careless) .

But today, he wanted to try to serve Zhang with a meal made with love (so that he could have some love time later, just kidding). He decided to make eggs benedict and baked mac and cheese since they were his partner's go to comfort meals.

He woke Zhehan up, kissed him good morning, served them their dishes, and turned on the television to check on the news. They were trending very much so as he got thousands of notifications on his social media accounts, but paid no mind to them (well... maybe he did go to scroll down his weibo to see the good and bad reactions, he didn't really care).

"Let's leave this city and elope.", Zhehan suddenly blurted out, leaving a shocked expression on Gong's face.

"Are you serious?", Gong asked.

"I've never been sure of anything else, I'm tired of hiding, tired of the management, and I just wanna be free and be with you.", Zhehan replied confidently.

"Alright then fuck them let's do this.", Gong stated barely thinking of anything that time.

They both filed their resignation letter that day and didn't give a damn at all about people's reactions towards their decision.

They then decided to book flights from all over the world starting with Maldives, Philippines, Thailand, etc and then they got married beneath the eiffel tower in Paris, France months later.

Oh and they did get to make out and explore the city of love, just being their true and carefree selves, enjoying each other's company.

"I love you, Laogong.", Zhehan said as he pulled his husband to him on their bed.

"And I love you, Laopao", Gong replied as he kissed his lover on the neck leaving love bites.

The newlyweds spent about a few rounds of lovey dovey before passing out and waking up the next day enjoying the sunrise.

"Baby, you are my home and there's no place I'd rather be." Zhehan stated.

"And you my dear, are the risk that I'm willing to take, always.", Gong replied back.

"Let's go and travel elsewhere."

"We shall."

And a couple of years later they adopted a baby boy which they hoped would live freely and happier than them and lived peacefully (finally).

End.
