Chp. 6 - Star

Error and Blue were in Outertale again.
The glitch happily looked up at the stars, sitting on Blue's lap.
When he climbed on the lap he announced proudly:
,,MuAhaHA! NOw I Am As BiG As You!"
Blue just chuckled lightly.
,,You sure are."

As the black skeleton looked in the sky, he noticed something moving in the edge of his eye.
He turned his head and saw the Chara of this AU, crying while leaning against a tree.
The glitch got of Blue's lap and walked to the Chara, much to Blue's confusion.
He couldn't see the Chara and wondered why Error was acting so weird.

Error stood now before Chara.
,,aRe yOu oKaY?" He asked.
The Chara looked up.
,,You can... see me?" They asked.
Error nodded. ,,Yes! I cAn!" He said.
Blue stood up and walked to Error.
,,Who are you talking to?"
He asked curious. The glitch looked up.
,,Oh! THe ChaRa! BUt They ArE a GhOSt. WaIt, I hAve An IdEa..."
Error pulled out the codes and began tipping on them.
Then he stopped and Blue suddenly saw the Chara.

He was shocked at first, but then decided not to question it. He smiled at them.
,,Oh. I am sorry that I didn't see you. My name is Blue. And this is Error."
He said. The Chara looked at Blue.
Then at Error. They jumped to their feet and tried to hug Error. ,,Thank you!"
They said happily.
But they just went through Error.
,,Oh. I'm sorry, haha. I forgot for a moment that I am a ghost. But why did you do this to me? No one ever did something that nice to me since I died!"
The ghost said smiling.

Error shrugged.
,,YoU arE a ChaRa. YoU dEsErvE tHis. CaN you... plEaSe tElL mE wHy you wErE cRyInG? I wAnT tO hElP..."
The Chara looked now sad.
,,My Frisk did really many Genocide Runs in the last time and says always that I controlled them. But that's not true! Why should I kill my own family? Mom, Dad, Asriel... When they did it the second time in a row I even began to ask them if they could do another run! It's not fair that Sans and the other hate me because Frisk said that I am evil! I didn't control them! I am only the narrator!"
The ghost said quickly, again beginning to cry.

Error didn't know what to do.
When he had a similar breakdown, Blue would always hug him and try to comfort him.
But the Chara was a ghost, so it wouldn't function. Also, he still had Haphephobia.
Only Blue could touch him.
Helpless he looked up at the skeleton with the bandana.

Blue sighed and said:
,,Hey... Chara. Please calm down.
Why don't you hmm... you remember Asriels battle in the True Pacifist route?"
Yes, Blue was well aware of the different routes and timelines.
He was also aware that in his world instead Asriel MK took the place. And also other things.
Chara nodded slowly.
,,You help Frisk in the end to SAVE Asriel, right?"
A nod again.
,,Why don't you... NOT help Frisk until they literally beg for you?"

The Chara looked up and smiled.
,,Thats brilliant! Thanks, Blue!"
They said exited.
,,And you too, Error!" They said.
Error looked up.
,,But I DidN't dO anYThInG?"
The Chara smiled.
,,Yes you did! You made me visible and tried to help me! Thats enough!"
Error blushed in a yellow out of embarrassment.

Then he said:
,,uHhhHhH... is iT oKaY iF I cAlL yOu StAr? BeCauSe... i tHiNk iT fItS yOu."
The Chara gasped in delight.
,,Yes! I like that name! I thought about a multiversal name a lot and this is really good!"
,,You know about the Multiverse?"
Asked Blue curiously.
The Cha- STAR nodded quickly.
,,Yes! We Charas meet sometimes!"
They said.
,,By the way Charas, I need to tell them about you!"

Error grabbed Blue's arm.
,,OkAy? UhHH... I Am SoRrY bUt dAd aNd I nEeD to Go, I tHiNk. I dOn'T wAnNa gEt yOu iN trOuBle iF InK oR SoMeoNe elSe cOmEs."
The Chara nodded quickly, definitely noticing that Error called Blue dad.
,,I understand! Bye Duncle Blue and Brousin Error!"
They said and was away.

Both skeleton stood there dumbfounded.
,,When did I agree to this?" Asked Blue then.
Error laughed.
,,CaN't cHanGe whAt tHey tHink. WeLp, back tO tHe Anti-VOID!"
He said and opened a portal.

... Honestly? That was the shortest and worst chapter I've written... OH WELL!
The next chapter will be probably the longest chapter in this book but I don't want to spoil things.
