It has been four days since Oikawa saw Iwa and Kamira together and...things have changed. 

Oikawa doesn't chase after Iwaizumi anymore. He doesn't text him every hour of the day to ask if he's ok, he doesn't look for him at break and lunch, he doesn't try to video call him while studying and he just doesn't bother him anymore. 

Oikawa did this to see if Iwaizumi would notice. Would he notice Oikawa missing and all he did on a daily basis? Would he confront Oikawa? Tell him that him and Kamira are nothing and that he likes Oikawa? Tell him that he misses Oikawa? 

He didn't notice. Well he did, but he didn't do anything about it since he was so busy with his lovely friend, Kamira. 

This hurt Oikawa, a lot. It hurt him to know that he would do anything for Iwa, yet Iwa wouldn't. He wouldn't even send him a message to ask if he was ok due to his sudden distance from Iwa. 

Oikawa was different. He didn't smile as much, he didn't joke around and laugh. He didn't stay behind after practice to train more, and he barely talked to someone. He was isolating himself from everything, just because of a stupid crush and a man called Iwaizumi. 

Most of the volleyball college team noticed this, specially Ushijima. 

He didn't notice just because of his change in personality and behaviour, but the lack of singing in the shower and the crying he fell asleep to every night. He wished he could just pass his hand through the wall and comfort Oikawa, to tell him it would be ok. 

Today was Friday, and Oikawa was happy that he didn't have volleyball practice. 

He was leaving his last lesson, when someone came up to him. It was Ushijima. 

"Hi." He greeted, walking next to Oikawa. 

"Hello Ushiwaka. Need something?" Oikawa asked.

Ushijima nodded and cleared his throat. 

"I'm going for an afternoon jog. I was wondering if you would like to come along. It's ok if you don't though, I know you're going through some hard stuff." Ushijima said. 

Oikawa thought for a few seconds the benefits of this. I don't really like jogging...but if I don't go I'll waste my afternoon crying over Iwaizumi. 

"Okay, I'll go. You have to carry me if I get too tired though." Oikawa said, obviously joking. 

However, Ushijima doesn't really get jokes, so he nodded his head. They walked together to their dorms, and decided to meet outside in 10 minutes. 

They both got changed into shorts, a shirt and jacket, before leaving. Ushijima said they'd jog to a cafe that according to Ushijima, has great milkshakes. Oikawa actually really wanted something sweet right now, so agreed on the jog journey. 

They started of in a slow pace, Ushijima clearly finding it easier than Oikawa. Ushijima jogs almost every day though, and he has a bigger build then Oikawa. However, Oikawa being Oikawa, wanted to be better started going quicker. Ushijima easily matched his pace, and they kept doing this until Oikawa had to stop and sit on a bench next to a road. 

"I'm dyingggg." He said, breathing deeply. 

"Stop being dramatic." Ushijima said, laughing. 

Oikawa looked up at the sound of Ushijima laughing. His lips curled up into a smile at the unfamiliar yet comforting sound. He had never heard Ushijima laugh before, so it was a surprise. 

Oikawa also laughed and then Ushijima said the cafe was around 5 minutes away. 

"But my legs are dead." Oikawa whined, closing his eyes.
