Ascending or descending arrangement of taxonomic category is called as hierarchy.

TAXONOMICAL AID
Things which helps to understand taxonomy is called taxonomical aid.
HERBARIUM
It is the store house of collected specimens that are dried pressed and preserved on a sheet. Standard size of the herbarium sheet is 11.5-16.5 inch. It also carry a label, providing information about date and place of collection, local and botanical name.
MUSEUMS
Collection of preserved plant and animal specimen for study and reference. Specimen are kept in containers or jars containing preserving solution such as formalin
ZOOLOGICAL PARKS
These are the places where animals are kept under human care which enables us to learn about their food habits and their behavior towards other organisms.
KEY
It is used for identification of plants and animals based on similarities and dissimilarities. Based on contrasting characters generally in the pair called as couplet. it represents the choice made made between two opposite choice where one is called accepted and opposite one is called rejected. Each statement in a key is called a LEAD. Key is generally analytical.
FLORA
It is a small booklet which gives list of plant, book, related botanical title, name of the author, complication in the given plant.
CATALOGUE
Small booklet which gives list of name of plant, botanical title, name of author, or publication in the given in a area along with pictures.
MANUAL
Useful in providing information.
MONOGRAM
Contains information of any one taxon
