Continuation~

Kohaku woke up with the horrible pain at her side as memories from the previous night flooded through her mind, 'what a crazy night'  she thought as suddenly heard a nock at her door. "Princess kohaku! It's me Layla can you let me in I need to get you ready for breakfast!" Layla shouted, kohaku scrambled to come up with a excuse as to why she couldn't let Layla in.

"Umm...*cough cough * I don't think I can make it breakfast this morning! I don't really feel well!" kohaku said faking a cough while frowning, she really didn't like lying to Layla.

"Oh! I will send the doctor to check on you later then later princess Kohaku...! Please make sure to rest up for today!" Layla said as Kohaku heard her foot steps fade away from the door, she sighed that was close one! Good thing Layla never questions my motives!  Kohaku sighed again that really didn't make her feel any better though. 

Kohaku continued to stay in the position she was in, on her bed, as she recalled the previous night and the little conversation she had have with her science friend. Something about the way he looked at while denying her accusations made her feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, the way his eyes showed no anger or hatred towards her comments, the way his face changed from a serious expression to a gentle smile she felt like melted butter in his hands .

"If I had to be honest... I really enjoy your company" those words words sound like music to Kohaku's ears as a smile crept up on her face without her even realizing it suddenly she heard a knock at her door breaking her out of her thoughts.

"Kohaku it's me Ruri can I come in?" Kohaku was surprise to hear her sister at the front door.

"*cough cough* come in" Kohaku said in a fake coughing I really won't be able to keep this up much longer  Kohaku thought as the door opened revealing her sister Ruri as she closed the door behind her, she started to walk towards her sister until she was next her bed, she sat down at the edge of looking at Kohaku with a smile.

"Your maid Layla told me your not feeling well Kohaku, so I came to check on is everything ok?" Ruri asked the empty smile still on her face, but went unnoticed by her sister.  

"* cough* Yes I don't feel that well" Kohaku didn't dare to look at her sister, she never thought the day would come when she would lie to her sister or least she didn't think the day would be so soon.

"Kohaku don't lie to me... I saw you last night with senku helping you to your room, at first I thought you were cuddling but I soon realized that wasn't the case" Ruri said her smile fading away into a frown, she saw kohaku visibly gulped.

"I...I can explain..." Kohaku said slowly looking up to see her sister, a tear rolled down her eye kohaku forgot how to speak.

"Why did you lie to me and said you were sick?" The tears started to increase as she started to sob, Kohaku quickly sat up and hugged her sister she tears stared to fall down her face as well.

"I'm sorry Ruri... I just didn't want to worry you-"

"Promise me kohaku" Ruri said as she let go of her sister and looked her straight in her face as she continued "Promise me that you will never get injured again and not tell me" Rruri said her voice serious.

"I promised" the sister's embraced once again as they smiled at each other, kohaku couldn't help but feel uneasy.

 ♡♡♡~➳➳➳Later that evening~♡♡♡ᕙ(^▿^-ᕙ)➳➳➳~~

The doctor had came and checked on kohaku minutes ago, it had taken a lot to convince the doctor she was sick, but it had luckily worked and he said she should rest up for the day. So kohaku was left there with her thoughts. For some reason she couldn't get senku's words out her head, every time she repeated them she felt fuzzy inside. Soon she heard another knock on her door.

"*cough cough * Come in" she said softly trying to keep up her act.

She was surprised when she saw senku entered with a bag in his hand.

"Hey lioness" senku said his usual grin on his face.

"S-Senku!" kohaku stuttered as she tried to calm herself "W-What are you doing here?" senku's grin grew wider. "To see if your really sick, and I think I already know that answer" senku said sitting down on the bed next to her.

"Of course I couldn't tell any body about what happened!" she shout whispered, trying to sit up but falling back down on her pillow when she felt the pain on her hip; She looked across to see senku shuffling through the brown cloth bag he had brought.

"what's in the bag?" kohaku asked as she raised a brow in curiosity senku kept his grin plastered on his face the whole time.

"It has in the medical equipment for cleaning up your wounds" Kohaku sighed as senku took out a scissors along with some small pieces of clothes he looked at kohaku his eyes stern.

"Remove you shirt" he kept his eyes locked with hers, Kohaku felt her throat go dry as she nodded and started to take off her shirt slowly feeling embarrassed about the whole situation but little did she do senku felt the same way too.

Both of them where silent during process they didn't dare look at each other once.

"Ok I am finish lioness" Senku said standing up, he started to put back the equipment in the bag while kohaku was putting on her shirt muttering 'not a lioness'. 

When senku was done he stood up and gave kohaku he usual grin " I'm going to head out" senku said, he was going to walk away but was stop by kohaku holding on to his hand.

"Wait I have some information to tell you" kohaku said as she let go of his hand her face slightly flushed.

Senku slowly sat down next to kohaku  it was silent for a little a couple of minutes and kohaku's face went serious.

"I think I might know who attacked me last night" kohaku announced as senku looked at her, she continued. 

"Early today my sister and I were talking and she mentioned that Ibara from the Ibara  empire along with his son and some knights, will be coming to our kingdom to discuss some business dealing with our nations coming together in peace in the next two days." kohaku paused and letting the information sink into senku's mind she then continued. "And she also said there strongest knight will be attending" kohaku said her look more serious than before.

"She didn't say why his son was coming?" 

"She said that father told her it was gonna be a surpirse " Senku quirked a brow as he grinned.

"I guess that doesn't matter right now, we just to make your wound healed up enough so you can attend the event and get intel" senku said his smirk growing devilish.

"You know you look like a villian when you do that right?" kohaku said in a sarcastic tone as they continued to talk about the plans, they had come to the decision that kohaku would go and spectate to see if she would be able to find the guy who had attack her that night.
