"Tell me how this, and love too, will ruin us."

Elena was sitting on the bleachers, Track's jacket wrapped around her as they watched the idyllic sunset painting pastel hues over the blue canvas that was fading into shades of burning red and orange. After their race, they got to know each other better with idle chatter. Track was a year above her, not very popular but mainly because he skipped class to go run laps half the time. So it's not like anyone really knew him.

"You should meet my friends," Elena nodded, as Track chuckled, standing.

"I'm not a people person," Track offered a hand. "I'm gonna head home, see you here tomorrow?" Elena, cocking her head before taking his hand and nodding.

"Same place."

"Same time." Elena's heart seemed to swell, thousands of false memories rushing over her as she placed her hand to her bosom, smiling at his slowly shrinking figure. She was once an angel, yet the sinful taste of the sight of his body has caused her to fall-Fall in love.

It was the morning after. Today would've been detention for Kaylee with Ed Sheeran, and Munizeh could not help but feel this hopeless jealousy burning in the pits of her stomach. She leaned over the edge of the balcony, gritting her teeth and tensing her biceps, trying to clear her head of such ugly thoughts. Kaylee was her friend, Ed Sheeran was just-

"Munizeh!" A pleasant voiced sound came from the other side of the hall, another ginger rushing over boobily. She smiled warmly, Claire. The sexiest being, second to Ed Sheeran and third to Imposter J. Crewmate. Claire ran up to the taller girl, grinning brightly as Munizeh took her pale hand in her golden one.

Claire has shared many senseless memories with Munizeh. Platonic kisses and intertwined hands.

"Good morning Claire," Munizeh greeted. "Do you think I can convince Ed Sheeran to switch detention with me?" Claire hid her jealousy, her smile fading ever so slightly.

"Probably. He's one of the more easily swayed teachers." They both leaned over the balcony, Claire opening her mouth to speak-But she was left speechless. There were so many things about their silent bond she wanted to say, her unspoken love practically causing her to burst at the seams, a swell in her throat as this crush seemed to flood her senses. Yet she could only stay silent.

"We never told each other our secrets. Remember how we promised to do so at that sleepover?" Munizeh reminded. Claire beamed up at the girl, hands twitching to caress Munizeh's star kissed face. "Can you tell me your secret?" She asked softly, looking down at the pale girl.

"You'd love that, wouldn't you?" Claire wiped away a smudge of eyeliner, as the bell rang. Munizeh opened her mouth to speak, but Claire was already making her way down to her hall, silently cursing herself. She wished she was more like her charming, suave cousin-Ed Sheeran.

That's right. She was related to him. Him. She was everything he wasn't, and he was everything she wasn't. And Munizeh seemed to want his everything.

"If you want a kidney, I have two," Kaylee was on her knees, practically worshipping Munizeh for taking her place in detention. "God, have I ever told you I love you?" Kaylee laughed breathlessly, readjusting the strap of her backpack, shouldering the weight of her academic success in a bag.

"You need to start saying it more," Munizeh winked, walking off to detention as Kaylee made her way home. she was deeply engrossed in a omega-verse Harry Styles fanfic, not noticing as she bumped into Sorin. Sorin was in her year, a shadowy figure that wore vintage sweaters and baggy ripped jeans, an abomination with multiple dark eyes and spindly hands and limbs. He elegantly placed a finger to where his lips should've been, seeming to smile.

"What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?"

"Doing my own business," Kaylee retorted, flicking her blonde hair out of her face and smirking. "What's a boy like you doing in a place like this?"

"That's my business," he winked, leaning down. "You know, when you're not arguing with me in AP world-You're kinda cute."

"Are you saying I'm not cute then?" She scoffed, pushing him away, but she was still smiling. Their relationship was complicated, rooted deeply in youthful mistakes and nostalgic play dates. They would hold each other when they cried, yet they were also each other's reason for crying. In another world, people would've seen soulmates. Yet here, it is a tragedy. She gently jabbed his shoulder, as he feigned hurt.

"Et tu, Brutus?" He joked in a smooth, pleasant sounding voice, her eyes rolling but a smile adorned her features. "Let me walk you home, your majesty."

"Don't act like you respect me all of a sudden." Yet she allowed him to stay by her side. They shared a relationship many did not understand.

But could they be more?

They could be so much more.

Friday night, and the girls were together again. Who needs men when there is friendship?

"And then he fucked me over the desk!" Munizeh laughed, possibly joking as Kaylee threw a piece of popcorn at her, which she elegantly caught.

"No one wants to hear about your Ed Sheeran romance!" Claire exclaimed, cuddling up into Author-Chan's side. Munizeh's heart swelled at the tender sight ever so slightly, before turning back to Lucy who was furiously debating with Imposter J. Crewmate on discord.

"My dick is bigger than your's, you twat!" Lucy grumbled, Imposter chuckling deeply.

"Need me to prove otherwise?"

"Don't bother me again!" She hurriedly hung up, throwing her phone as Charli smirked.

"You two are getting along well."

"You wish."

"Wanna pway a gwame guys?" Author-Chan asked, getting out some birch logs and netherrack out on her Minecraft game. "I'm gwonna summon Hewobwine," she uwued passionately.

"Alright kitten," Mallory sat back, as they watched Author-Chan placed the blocks. Lightning crashed outside, rain pounding down as the power went out. "What the fuck?" Mallory exclaimed, jumping as Charli stood.

"I'll go check on the generator."

"I'll come with you," Elena volunteered.

"It's better if we go as a group, you've all seen those horror movies," Kaylee put her phone in her pocket. "I lost my signal. Do you think that lightning struck the power lines?"

"I guess, you shouldn't have lost your signal though..." Charli frowned, as everyone stood. They crowded around each other, preparing to leave before a sudden crash alerted them to an unwelcome visitor.

"You called?" His white eyes glowed brightly, blue shirt tight against his muscles as he stretched, the lightning striking and illuminating the room, the girls realizing what they have summoned.

"Hewobwine."
