Pairing: Platonic Team x GN!Reader

Summary: A quick little Headcanon of the various ways the reader falls asleep during long cases or on the way back, when writing it I imagined the reader to be a little younger than Spencer

Disclaimer: While this is all meant to be platonic, I intentionally left it open to interpretation if you want to read it as romantic instead feel free to do so. I also did this really quickly because I wanted to put something out for you guys as it's been a while since I wrote anything. Takes place around S13 so it does not include Hotch or Morgan. No explicit mention of Rossi either.

Working with the BAU meant needing to be available at a moment's notice, which also meant being able, and willing, to catch whatever sleep you could.Most of the time you'd fall asleep on the jet on the way back from the case with your head leaning against the window next to you.Occasionally, you'd fall asleep next to one of the other members and end with your head against themThis usually happened with Matt, and he usually just let you sleep the entire time not moving you. He knew you were exhausted and didn't mind you sleeping on him.One time you fell asleep in the middle of reading and were woken by Spencer once you landed, "You're on page 73" he said with a smile as he handed you the book, which he had moved so you didn't mess it up by sleeping on it.At one point, you had fallen asleep between JJ and Tara, which Emily made sure to get a picture of the way the three of you were laying together to send to Garcia.Garcia of course printed and framed the picture of what she called "Three of her favorite people resting after a long day of crime-fighting."A few times you fell asleep with your head on Emily's lap while she absentmindedly played with your hair the entire way home.During long cases, the team would occasionally gather in one hotel to unwind before the trip home.When this happened it usually resulted in you falling asleep curled up in the hotel room chair.If everyone gathered in the room you were in, it tended to end in everyone sleeping there dividing the beds and floor space.Usually whoever shared the bed with you ended up cuddling with you, as you were used to sleeping along and holding onto your pillow and didn't intend to grab onto them instead.Because of the cuddling aspect, it was rare that you shared a bed with Spencer, but it did occasionally happen.One time you were injured and had to stay back with Penelope and during an extremely long day you fell asleep at her desk.The longer you were a member of the BAU, the more you found yourself in awkward sleeping positions, and you sure you weren't the only one.
