Held in the older times.

Mingyu, a walking demigod, he controls the weather, and all things great. People would worship him, asking him to provide good weather whenever they are in need of good weather for their land.

Wonwoo, an ordinary person, walking the earth, Mingyu's soon-to-be spouse.

Also the person who had found Mingyu, all alone and beaten up as he sat under the roofs, filled with leaks. Wonwoo was around fifteen then, Mingyu looked about the same age as him, so he approached him, in hopes of helping the other out.

A hot kettle was thrown at Mingyu. Luckily, his reaction time was quick enough to block it from colliding with his face, resulting in a burn on his forearm. He let tears stream down silently as he endured all the torture he was receiving from his parents.

"Of what use are you?" His father looked at him sternly, grumbling as he slapped Mingyu.

"You are supposed to be a blessing from the gods! You're supposed to bring good fortune to all of us! What else do you need?" His father grabbed his hair as he pulled him up.

"You're supposed to be able to control them. Control your emotions! I don't want this land to flood because of you!" He slapped Mingyu again, before yanking him away.

"You're not my child."

Mingyu gasped as he stared at his father, who turned his back on him as he walked away. He felt his world fall apart as he grit his teeth, trying to move his body. But he was unable to, because he had been starved for a few days, from his punishment for being unable to provide the land with perfect weather.

He ran for the door, pushing it out of his way as he ran as far as he could, away from his home. He had never considered it his own home anyway, so what was the difference?

He sat under a bridge as he tried to calm himself down. His burn was still hot on his skin as he tried to blow on it, hoping to cool it down, before submerging it in the river. His tears had dried then when the heat subsided slowly.

"Boy?"

Mingyu turns to the direction of sound, curious eyes staring at the other boy who was carrying a large basket of laundry towards him.

Mingyu points as himself as he looks at the other, cocking his head to the side as he was confused as to why this person was approaching him. Had he known that he'd be able to control the weather? Had he come to do the same as his parents did? If he was, then Mingyu should stand up and run-

"You're badly injured," The boy held Mingyu's forearm delicately in his hands. He looks at Mingyu with a smile, "Nothing my father can't fix though."
